Call me old fashioned, but school teachers should not be on reality tv dating shows. Neither should parents. It's so very inappropriate. Yes, parental control is a factor here as in parents shouldn't let their kids watch shows that involve a high amount of sex and stupidity, but teachers inherently have a responsibility to keep private lives private. It's part of the job, really.

Please, give me a break! Teachers are people just like everyone else is in this world. Amber did nothing wrong. She handled herself with the utmost respect and showed a genuine love for the profession. She is 23 years old and looking for a husband...choosing teaching as a profession does not coincide with becoming a nun.

I have to agree with Hayley here. Speaking as a parent, I would have no problem with my kids' teachers going on The Bachelor. As a matter of fact, I'd probably arrange for viewing parties for other parents to join in and watch, to cheer her on. A teacher's private life is her own, just as everyone else's should be. If she chooses to look for love on national television, that's her business.

Is the show appropriate for young kids to watch? Of course not. But I don't see any reason why a teacher or a parent shouldn't participate if they want to.
