Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, March 5th, After the Live Show
Before we go any further, I have to toot my own horn here, as I did predict this twist. Just want it known. It won’t bring me any fame or fortune and will just make others irritated with me, but I just had to get that out.
We get the feeds back nearly immediately after the live show. Sheila is predictably happy, as she’ll finally get some sleep. Matt wants a guys’ alliance, as apparently he never heard of the 4 Horsemen and what went wrong there. He wants Ryan to nominate Josh and Sharon.
Natalie comes in, and Matt kicks her out of the room, declaring it now a bachelor pad. He thinks she should go to the cursed room, but if that’s the case, she’ll need her foil hat. She hugs him, assuring him he’ll miss her. Ryan is figuring Jen is at home and that she scoured the place looking for pictures to send to him for his HoH room. Boy, is he wrong! Matt asks Adam to bunk with him and wants to make the same offer to James.
Josh and Sharon prepare to move back to sharing a room with James and Chelsia, and Chelsia thinks the four of them have a big target on their backs with Ryan in power. Sharon figures that this must mean no one is coming back, and Chelsia figures she’s right. I’m all giddy with that whole I know something you don’t feeling. James admits he’s afraid to be separated from Chelsia because of all the info they have shared. She’s worried, as James hasn’t really talked to her since the split.
Ryan asks if Chelsia and James will still sleep in the same bed, and she says she isn’t sure. Natalie is figuring on still doing Matt’s laundry, because she promised. OMG. Sometimes I just want to grab her and shake some sense into her. Everyone thinks there is no way anyone can come back into the house because of the timeframe. Heeheehee.
Josh and James share some time in the sauna, thinking there will be a bonus of some sort if you stick with your original partner. James figures Chelsia will become a social butterfly now and ignore him, and Josh thinks Sharon will do the opposite. James then joins Matt and Adam and they realize finally that the winnings won’t need to be split. The winner takes all. Adam notes everyone else is shocked about the news, but the guys are like, “Woo-hoo!”
Ryan and Adam move to the kitchen, looking at the memory wall, as Ryan admits he doesn’t know who to put up. Adam suggests Josh and Sharon. James and Chelsia are asked if they’re still going to share a bed, and after Josh and Sharon say they still will be, Chelsia says it all depends on if he keep jacking off in there. Sheila is the brave one that decides to take the cursed room. I guess anything to get rid of Adam.
It just gets sadder and sadder with Natalie. Matt is telling her even though they’re not soulmates, maybe her soulmate is in the house. He plans to help her find him, and suggests Adam as an option. She refuses, saying his hooded warrior scares her. I think it scares everyone. Now that he’s free of her, he can be a little more open, and tells her he heard she wanted to have his baby. She claims she doesn’t remember, and it just becomes all the more sad.
Sharon tells Josh she’s scared. She thought they had it in the bag when it was going to be a shorter season. Couples or not, it was still big brother, and it was way too early to be thinking that.
Matt seems to be still be continuing with his plan to drive James crazy by flirting with Chelsia. He comes up and asks her if it’s okay now to tell everyone that they’re another couple in the house. She gets the joke and asks Sheila if she can keep a secret.
This doesn’t go too far, as it’s time to go see Ryan’s HoH room. He gets a Bone Thugs CD, which he says he didn’t request, lots of snacks, red wine, and sushi. There’s a picture of his dog, and everyone says his sister is cute. It sounds like he tries to kick everyone out at one point, as he says, “Thanks Guys, now go do your thing.” Josh is nice enough to lead Ryan into the shower and show him his jacking off spot, as the camera doesn’t reach there. It’s so nice when they share.
It turns into a cat fight already with the separated couples, as Sheila asks for one of Ryan’s beers as she’s leaving, and Chelsia harps on her that that’s not right, then she and Natalie stay while the others leave, to tell him how wrong that was of Sheila. The others downstairs talk about Chelsia in the room still with Ryan, and think she’s working him. Notice how they don’t give a crap if Natalie is with him?
James and Josh are talking again, with Josh saying he knows he’ll be going up. James is worried about Chelsia saying something about him making her weak. He gets in the sauna with her and says he never thought he’d fall in love with someone on national TV, and she agrees. They both say they’ll always have each other’s backs and feel they lost part of themselves when they were separated tonight. Chelsia admits it took a lot for her to not start crying when Julie announced the split.
The two decide they’ll still sleep together, which is good, as everyone is but Sheila and Adam. James still wants to kiss her, and he plans to quit smoking so that he doesn’t have to depend on Ryan and Adam for cigarettes anymore. That’s actually really smart, as that is how they’re trying to control him. They make out for awhile and decide to stick together “for the kids.” Well, I’m not sure about kids, but I know there are plenty of little boys here.
Natalie creates a little napkin and tries to show it off to people, very proud of it. I have to admit she does great art with that nail polish. Even Ryan tells Matt he’s a dick to Natalie, explaining she’s a nice girl with a big heart that loves him. He tells her to hang her napkin up, as she’s proud of it, and says he thinks her feelings were hurt when he celebrated so much after finding out the couples were breaking up.
Ryan, Matt, and Adam are talking downstairs in the bedroom, and Sheila comes in, saying she’s bored. She sits next to Ryan, and he suggests there’s a parent/child pair in the house, and asks Sheila where her son’s father is. She claims he’s in the Caribbean. The guys also tell Sheila she should have been in the hot tub the night they were having their orgy, but she says that’s not her scene. And just whose scene is it?
Adam and Chelsia wind up in the SR together, and she tells him she thinks he’s strong and intelligent, but when he was with Sheila, he was a floater. Way to get to him, especially noting that he nearly won against Ryan. He thinks he’s f’ed now, and she tells him not necessarily. Right, because I think he just wants his hooded warrior to be f’ed.
As Natalie and Chelsia are cooking in the kitchen, Ryan talks about the door not opening, and the girls point out Allison didn’t want to hug anybody. Josh mentions being afraid it meant Allison was coming to get him, and wonders how this fits into the puzzle that Allison thought she had figured out. Everyone figures Jen is happy. If they only knew how close they probably are to each other right now. Josh then has to go and give us ideas, saying he’d commit suicide if he found out America was going to vote Allison back into the house.
You know it has to be bad for Sheila when she goes and cries to Adam. She’s finding herself a little lonely now, just hours after Allison left, as she really did like talking to her, and she just can’t hang out with the other girls. The two talk about the way Allison left, saying it was horrible the way she was so excited, then so dejected. Sheila thinks everyone in the house is horrible and mean and will stoop to anything. Adam says he wants to read the whole Bible before he leaves, and Sheila figures she should as well. I think motel rooms are probably the only other places where the Bible is read so much.
After reading the Bible for awhile, Adam joins some of the others, and sitting down to file her nails, Natalie notices something odd about Adam’s finger and asks about it. He explains he broke it when he was little, as his mother put it in a vice. If that’s not one of the most disturbing things you’ve ever heard, then you’ve probably seen far too much pain yourself.
If Allison ends up getting voted back in, it’s not going to be any easier for her than when she was here the first time. Ryan knew her secret life of a pro gambler, and he goes around and starts telling the others about it. Well, not telling them, but hinting, a lot! If everyone knows she’s a pro gambler, and makes her life manipulating people, the same way they were all calling her on it last week, she won’t last another week in the house.
Josh and some of the girls sit around talking about what life after the merge will be. When it comes to couples, they agree what will make it hard is no one really knows who is still working in couples and who’s not. They don’t think Matt and Natalie are, and Sheila offers up she can say that she and Adam definitely won’t be. Chelsia doesn’t know if her and James are or not, as she’s not sure if he’ll go … and she stops, making a motion with her hand. Even the people that didn’t see them kissing in the sauna earlier don’t believe this.
The conversation moves to who Ryan might put up, and Matt is offered up as a suggestion. Sheila tells everyone all the stuff Allison was spilling to Ryan before she left, saying Matt couldn’t be trusted. Yet, she thinks Ryan is afraid of Matt. What?
Sharon and Josh go to bed, and Matt comes in talking about moving his stuff to the cursed bed. Natalie won’t have it, saying she’s already lost her partner, and the least he can do is sleep in the same bed with her still. He leaves, somewhat dejected that his great plan wasn’t going to work. Did he really think it would be that easy to get rid of her?
Once everyone is settled in, it seems Chelsia and James are keeping the same bed together, but we knew that. Josh and Sharon are in the bed that Allison and Ryan had, Adam is in the same bed as before, but Sheila has moved to the boat room, and Matt and Natalie are in the same bed, much to his chagrin.
So only one couple broke their sleeping arrangements, but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion once everyone is more comfortable with playing as individuals instead of couples, that these arrangements won’t stick … other than Chelsia and James. I think they’ll stay together until one of them gets kicked out.
