Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, March 25th, Part One – Sheila Stirs the Pot
Josh is up this morning a little before the wakeup call. Thankfully, we’re spared his morning dance routine as the flames engulf us for twenty minutes. Natalie’s complaining about Ryan’s snoring, and Sharon has caused a stir in the house by wearing shorts. No, seriously. She never wears them. The guys are shocked that they actually look like booty shorts, and tell her she looks great. She wears her bikinis all the time, so I’m not getting why this is a big deal.
James and Chelsia are, of course, still in bed. James is trying to get her to take off her robe so that he can play with her boobs.
Adam and Ryan are in the backyard, once again talking about the upcoming HoH comp. Ryan has a feeling he’s going to win it. Their conversation is made up of sentences like, “How cool would it be if we won this shit, bro?” Josh comes out to join them, and suddenly they’re talking about football. Ryan asks why Chelsia didn’t bother to campaign, and Josh says that she knows it wouldn’t matter because they’ve all decided that she’s leaving.
Ryan says that he thinks Sheila is working both sides, and that she’ll hop into an alliance with James as soon as Chelsia is gone. Josh is wondering how Natalie will do on her own, without Matt. Newsflash Josh: Matt’s been gone for almost a week now, and Natalie hasn’t exactly withered up and died. I think it’s safe to say she’ll be fine.
They discuss how much it sucks that they won’t be remembered for very long, since the new season of BB will start up soon after theirs ends. I think there are other reasons for this crew falling into obscurity, but we don’t have to get into that now. Josh mentions the various gay men who have been on the show, including Joe and his giant nipples. And then they’re back to bashing Sheila and her lackluster performance in the competitions so far.
Sheila and James are talking, and she tells him that any deals he has made with anyone in the house cannot be trusted, because everyone is out to get him now. Then she says that if she wins HoH, she’s not after him at all. She says he’s not a threat to her, and that she wants to get to the end with a person who’s played the game hard like he has. James is just taking all of this in and not giving much, until he asks her if she’s related to Matt. Heh. She tells him no, she just met Matt at the same time he did. Then she starts talking about her actual son and how much he and James will like each other.
Chelsia and Josh come outside, so Operation Make Friends With the Threat is over for now. James goes over to talk with Josh and Chelsia, and tells them that Sheila told him the others are planning to backdoor him next week. Josh tells him not to worry about it, Sheila’s just trying to jump on his coattails and ride to the end. James is called to the DR to record his goodbye message to Chelsia, and she tells him to “make it good.” I predict the phrases “great girl” and “really care about you” will be in this clip.
Adam and Ryan are talking about Sheila jumping ship and/or working both sides. They both agree that they can’t trust her, and she’s giving up any information they tell her.
Sheila goes to sew up James’ jacket for him, and tells Sharon that everyone is gunning for James but her. I guess she thinks that maybe she can get Sharon to trust her, and she’ll go to James and tell him not to target Sheila or something. Sheila’s talking up a storm about how much she admires James and how much he’s done in his life and in the game. She thinks he’ll be there at the end, even though he probably won’t win. Then she’s talking about how she wishes everyone in the house could have won something, and mentions Ryan taking the $10,000 from her again.
Adam and Ryan have gone outside to play pool, and they’re still talking about Sheila playing both sides. Adam says that she’s trying to save her ass, and they can’t really blame her for playing the game. Ryan’s just worried that she’s telling them all the stuff they’ve talked about. Like what, they have to win HoH? Ryan has big plans for HoH, by the way. He won’t tell Adam what he’s going to do just yet, but he thinks he’s really going to stir shit up. Adam can’t wait to hand Ryan the HoH key.
Natalie has joined Sheila and Sharon, and Natalie is talking about her painting. She also does pottery and likes to paint mermaids. Her paintings are up at the coffee bar she works at, and people come in all the time to buy them.
James, Josh, and Chelsia are outside now, talking about Sheila flipping. They’re trying to figure out what everyone would do if they win HoH this week. They note that James is a target for the majority of the house, and James mentions that Dick told him that during his season people were always after him and he wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Now Adam and Ryan are in the HoH room watching the spy screen. Sheila and James go out to play a game of pool together, and Ryan says that she’s going out to set them all up with James. Outside, Sheila is telling James that they have something in common – everyone in the house wants them out. She wonders who the bigger target is, and when James says it’s definitely him, she asks if he thinks the house sees him as a bigger threat than her. Well, let’s see. He has a strong alliance behind him and can win competitions. Sheila? Not so much.
Ryan has come downstairs, and he goes to the kitchen to tell James that if Sheila was saying shit about him targeting James next week, then she’s lying. He’s willing to call her out here and get everything out in the open. James says not to worry, he only has one target next week. He won’t name names, but it’s the guy who promised not to put him up last Tuesday, and then put him up two days later. Hmm. That’s pretty cryptic. Can you give us some more clues James?
Josh is telling Ryan and James that Sheila is trying to make everyone think that, if she wins HoH, she’ll put up Josh and James, when really she wants to target someone from her own group. Probably Ryan. James agrees and says that Sheila did say she wanted Ryan out. Josh says that last night she told him that if she makes it to the final two, she’ll win the game because she’s a single mom. James says that if she gets to the end, he probably would vote for her because she mind-fucked everybody in the house. Josh and Ryan won’t even consider this and say they’d never vote for her. Ryan is particularly steamed about this whole conversation.
Ryan leaves, and Josh thinks that they’ve successfully pitted two of “them” against each other. James isn’t so sure, and thinks that Sheila and Ryan may be putting this all out there on purpose to try and trap them.
There’s some excitement when a banner plane flies overhead, and the hamsters read, “Run Fatboy, Run!” on the banner. It takes them a minute, but eventually they figure out it’s a movie advertisement. Hee. Ryan probably thought it was directed at him.
Natalie and Chelsia are talking in the kitchen, and Chelsia actually has the balls to ask what she can do to redeem herself and get Natalie’s vote. Natalie tells her that, right before Chelsia blew up at her the other night, she had been in the HoH room campaigning to Adam to keep her and get Joshuah out instead. She adds that she doesn’t care what Chelsia says about her, but the stuff about Matt really bothered her. Chelsia says that Matt did try to get sexual with her, and that he told her about the blow jobs. Natalie continues to deny that these ever happened.
Chelsia says that Sharon is underestimated in the game, and that if she (Chelsia) stays, she’s willing to put James on the block. She says she knows that the two of them can’t continue to play the game together, and she has no problem turning on him. Natalie doesn’t promise her vote of course, but she doesn’t tell Chelsia to shove it either. Which I totally would have done in her place.
Natalie goes out and tells Sheila and Sharon about her conversation with Chelsia. Sharon wonders why Chelsia would even think that Natalie would consider keeping her, after being degraded on television like that. Natalie says if Matt did tell people she gave him blow jobs, she’s done with him.
The girls talk about this for a while, and it seems that Natalie and Sheila are getting a bit worked up about Chelsia campaigning to stay. She wonders if James and Chelsia actually think that she would change her mind about keeping Sharon in the game. Sharon is taking this all very well, just saying that she trusts Natalie and Sheila and telling them not to worry.
Adam gets his HoH camera, so photo-taking fun begins. Sheila tells Josh that Chelsia was trying to get Natalie’s vote, and both of them agree that there’s no way they would flip it. Sheila mentions that she’s starting to get an odd feeling that Chelsia is staying. Josh doesn’t think it’s possible, and they start in on a little Natalie-bashing. Just for the heck of it. Josh wants to know what the pick-off order is according to Sheila’s side, and she says James, Joshuah, and then Sharon. Josh says that someone told him she wants Ryan on the block, and she doesn’t give a straight answer.
Sheila then goes and tells Sharon that if she ends up being evicted this week, she has to know that Sheila’s vote was with her. Why? I have no idea. This paranoia is pretty much coming from nowhere. I can’t tell if Sheila is assuming something’s going down, or if she just wants to shake things up and make the others think the votes are changing. She’s just talking about a vibe that she’s getting, and that she’s hearing things that she hopes aren’t true. Way to freak poor Sharon out there, Sheila. She thinks that Chelsia is staying and she knows it, and that’s why she hasn’t been campaigning.
Adam and James are playing pool, and Adam wants to know how the HoH blog thing works. Ah yes, the mysterious art of blogging. James says you get an hour, and there’s a timer on the computer. He tells Adam to just write shout-outs to his friends and family and talk about life in the house if he wants to.
Now we’re in the sauna room with Chelsia, Sharon, and Sheila. They’re pretty much ripping into Natalie again, trying to figure her out. Chelsia says she feels sorry for Nat, because she missed out on so much in life because of her childhood. She brings up the education thing again too. Sheila says that she told Natalie that Chelsia says nice things about her, but she doesn’t believe it. Natalie comes in and asks what they’re talking about, and Sheila says that Chelsia is saying nice stuff about her. Natalie turns around and walks out.
Sheila and Sharon somehow figure out that the boys are plotting to keep Chelsia and boot Sharon. Sharon is pissed off and says so – she can’t believe that Joshuah would vote against her. Sheila thinks for a minute and then goes out to find Natalie. Nat tells her that James just told her that Sheila told him everyone’s planning to backdoor him next week. Sheila flips out and calls James several choice words. She shares her feeling that the boys are playing them all, and trying to pit all of the girls against each other.
They all figure that Ryan has flipped sides, and Natalie wants to call him out on it. Sheila is very adamant that she shouldn’t do that, but Nat thinks she can be sneaky and get him to admit it without making a scene. Sheila still doesn’t want that, but warns them all that shit is about to go down. Poor Sharon is looking so confused.
Sharon forces herself to leave the conversation, so Sheila and Natalie work themselves into a frenzy. Sheila denies ever telling James anything, and Natalie is talking about threatening Ryan so he stays with them. They want to overthrow the house, turn this shit around, make everyone see that they’re in control, blah blah blah. Natalie admits that Ryan told her he would be playing both sides to see if he could get info for them, but Sheila thinks that’s just a cover for him. She should know, right? She just keeps going, on and on, about traitors and targets and how they have to stick together and not let James stir them up.
Now Sheila is ranting that she’s not going to put out of there by these 20-year-olds. Did you know that she’s 45? And a single mom? ‘Cause she’s telling Natalie this right now. She’s 45 and how often will she ever have a chance to win this kind of money? The rest of them have their whole lives ahead of them, and lots of chances. I’m thinking this isn’t going to fly well, even with Natalie. I think even Nat has heard enough of this, as she gets up and leaves.
And right now that’s what I’m going to do as well. Part two will be up shortly!
