Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, March 28th – Too Many Alliances
Okay, we’re going to whiz through this day as quickly as possible, because I’m behind on the recaps. I’m skipping over minor details and most of the rehash conversations, so hopefully things will be caught up soon and we can get back to the usual snarkery.
Wakeup time is 9:15 for those of you keeping score at home. Sheila is already ranting about not being nice to people any more because they can’t handle the truth (tm Jack Nicholson) and it bites her in the ass every time. She gets in the shower, and a few minutes later Ryan and Adam are telling James that they saw blood running down her leg from her period, and they’re going on and on about how gross it is and how they’ll have to bleach the shower. That’s a clip I probably could have skipped, right?
Natalie’s up and making breakfast for herself and Adam, and offering Ryan and James the protein shakes she has in her HoH room. James asks Natalie about Sheila wanting to go on the block, and she confirms that yes, Sheila was adamant last night that she wanted to leave the house. James wants to know what Natalie’s going to do, and she says she’ll honour Sheila’s request, and if the votes go 2-2 then she gets to break the tie. James of course asks who she would evict, and Nat says she doesn’t know yet. Can we please just get past the veto comp before all of this speculation?
Sheila tells Sharon that the others are starting to talk about her being a threat, because she’s silent but deadly. Joshuah comes in and asks Sheila about going on the block, and she says yes, she asked Natalie to do that for her. She says she wants Josh to stay because he wasn’t involved in the drama last week or today, and she doesn’t want Sharon on the block again. Josh says he thought James was going to hit her last night (I did too) and Sheila says she wishes he had.
Sheila and Sharon spend a lot of time talking. Well, it’s mostly Sheila that’s talking. They’re chatting about family and religion and how Sheila will walk out of there with class. She’s afraid her son will be embarrassed by how she’s been treated in the house, and she thinks she’s had it much worse than Natalie has. Stretch those points out as far as you can and repeat them a few times, and you’ve got most of the conversation.
In the kitchen, Natalie is apologizing to James for talking about him when they all thought he was sleeping. James apologizes too for going off and says he feels badly about what he did to Sheila. Natalie thinks Sheila brought it on herself by trying to play both sides. James says he was really upset because Sheila kept coming to him and building him up, and that game him some hope. Then he heard her trashing him in the kitchen and it was just too much. Natalie says that Sheila bugs her, and that, if someone comes off the block, she’ll get her wish and be nominated.
Sharon is telling Sheila that to her, being a Christian is leading by example. She’s not going around smoking, damaging her liver with alcohol, or talking about her past drug use in the house – she’s just being herself and not being a follower. She says that she doesn’t preach god to anyone, even though she could talk about him all day long. If people want to know about him or learn about him, they will ask her. Sheila is very impressed with this.
Sharon’s crying now, because Sheila had been talking about Josh and how his mom was worried that there would be gay-bashers in the house. Sharon says that she feels a lot of responsibility to protect Josh, but she doesn’t think she can get him to the end of the game, and it’s hard. She’s got the type of personality that wants to care for and protect people, and she gets very emotionally invested in them. They comfort each other over the whole thing.
Natalie joins the conversation, and they try to pump each other up to win the veto. James and Josh are in the sauna room just passing time until the comp starts. James plays chess with himself, while the girls keep talking. Sheila is called to the DR and Josh goes up to the HoH room to talk to Sharon and Nat. When Sheila comes back, she’s pissed off because James “attacked” her again by saying that he could hear her downstairs and heard everything she said.
Josh leaves, and the girls are trying to decide on a new alliance name. Because I guess they’re going with the gender thing now and sticking together. They suggest Charlie’s Angels, Josh’s Angels, Jesus’ Angels … notice the theme?
It’s now 2 in the afternoon, and the PoV comp hasn’t started yet. The hamsters are bored and restless, and frankly so am I. Sheila’s listening to Natalie’s CD because she wants to avoid James, Sharon is in bed reading the bible, Adam and Josh are sleeping, James is alternately jumping around and sitting there picking at his hands and feet, and Ryan and Natalie are trying to figure out what the comp will be like.
An hour later we get trivia, and then a producer’s voice telling Natalie and Sharon to change out of their white shirts. Ryan thinks the comp will have something to do with giving things up in the house … and then it’s trivia again.
Two hours later, we’re back and James is happy. That can’t be good. Josh is really down, and Natalie says she’s really sorry, she tried as hard as she could. Josh says he knows, and it’s okay. James definitely won, and Natalie is telling Sharon that now they have to worry that he’ll win HoH again. Josh is crying now, alone in the bedroom, while Natalie is saying that she can’t put Sheila up because the votes will be split and she doesn’t want to break the tie. She tells Sharon that she has no other choice but to put her on the block again.
Now Sharon’s crying too, and James is walking around grinning. Josh is wondering whether or not to eat real food now, since he’s a dead man walking anyway. He goes to find Sharon and tells her that he’s not going to “pull a Chelsia” and will remain calm for the rest of the week. He says he had two chances, HoH and PoV, and he didn’t win either of them so he’s done. They dry their eyes and go to the kitchen where Sheila is making slop.
Apparently the comp had something to do with weights and measurements in the BB house. I’m reminded of the teacup question that Jen guessed correctly last season – the way they’re talking it sounds like the entire comp was similar.
Josh tells everyone that there will be no tears or drama from him this week. James says he could never make that promise in his situation. Great, so we have to go through the screaming and stuff again the next time James is nominated. Bleh.
Adam’s in his room reading the bible, and Ryan comes in swearing, really pissed off that James won veto again. Ryan says that he’d rather keep Josh in the house than Sharon, and Adam agrees. They think Sharon would put both of them on the block if she won HoH, but Josh might go after the girls instead. That’s pretty accurate, methinks. Ryan wants to take the plan to James, and make sure Natalie and Sheila don’t find out about it.
James goes to one of the bedrooms, jumping up and down and dancing. I think it’s safe to say that his spirits have completely turned around since yesterday. Ryan goes to Joshuah in the bathroom and tells him that he has his and Adam’s votes, so he’ll stay. Josh is nodding and smiling, but says that he’ll keep pretending to be depressed.
Josh goes to Natalie and she apologizes to him again. He thanks her for trying so hard to win the veto, and then says that he won’t campaign against Sharon, but he thinks it would be better for Natalie to keep him because he’ll be a target week after week, and he’s willing to make deals with her. Natalie tells him that she’s definitely putting Sharon on the block against him, so he’ll have to get the votes himself. She promises that if it’s a tie, she’ll send Sharon out. Josh asks if she’s going to tell Sharon the same thing, and she says no.
Josh leaves and Natalie asks out loud why James won’t leave. She apologizes to Matt for not sending him his birthday present, and worries that she might have to break a tie in the votes and really doesn’t want to. Ryan comes up to talk with her, and they both lament the fact that they can’t get rid of James. Ryan wants to know who’s going up (duh) and Natalie says Sharon. They discuss the pros and cons of keeping Sharon or Josh, and Natalie asks if Ryan thinks Josh will keep his word. Ryan trusts him, and Natalie does as well. She says that if it’s a tie she’ll boot Sharon, and they both agree not to tell Sheila anything. They promise that the three of them (Ryan, Nat, and Adam) will stick together no matter what happens.
Sharon is downstairs crying into her bowl of slop, while Sheila tries to reassure her that she didn’t let Josh down, they all lost the veto except for James, and that she’s safe this week.
James goes upstairs to tell Natalie that he’ll be using the veto. Like that’s a newsflash. Natalie and Ryan want to know who he’s going to vote for, but he won’t tell them because, of course, he doesn’t trust them. He does say that he’s interested in working with them though. When he leaves, Natalie and Ryan think about making a deal with James and Josh to keep them all safe for the next two weeks. I don’t know why they bother – no one sticks to these deals anyway.
Josh tells James that he thinks he has the three votes he needs now, and they hug.
Sharon’s gone to the bathroom to have a good cry. Sheila goes to talk to her, telling her that no one else in the house has her back but Sheila will always be straight with her and tell her the truth. Sheila adds that she’s buried the hatchet with Joshuah and everything’s good now. Sharon leaves to go cry in one of the bedrooms by herself.
James and Josh gab about whether or not they can trust anyone in the house but each other, and they promise not to screw each other over. I think Josh has made alliances with everyone but Sheila, hasn’t he?
Josh is telling Sharon that everything is okay. The odds just weren’t with them today. Sharon is scared that James will turn on her, but Joshuah assures her that he won’t and she needs to stick with him after Josh is evicted. Sharon wonders if Sheila might actually be nominated instead of her, but Josh says no way, it’s not going to happen.
Natalie is upstairs telling Ryan that Matt lied to her and a lot of other people in the house. Now that she knows the truth about him kissing Sharon and Chelsia, she says that she’s glad he’s gone, and he’s not really her type anyway. I hope she’s serious about this.
Josh is kind of overdoing it now, telling Sheila to take care of Sharon for him. Sheila tells him that Sharon would have taken a bullet for him and that’s why she’s so upset, because she feels like she let him down. Josh asks Sheila what she thinks is going to happen now, and she says it’s going to be split girls versus boys.
James, Josh, and Ryan end up in the hot tub together talking about working together along with Natalie. Josh shares that Sheila has already told him that the house is going to split according to gender, and how she plans to work with Sharon once he leaves. James says that he’s going to tell everyone that he’s voting for Josh, and Ryan plans to keep Adam and Sheila completely in the dark about what’s going on. This never works though, because not a single one of these people can keep a secret. They all have to either spill everything the first chance they get, or call others out. Anyway, they decide to split up Sheila and Adam next week so that there are no couples left in the game.
Ryan leaves, and Josh and James talk about feeling bad about Sharon, but they have to do this. Josh says that if one of them ends up in sequester, at least it’s a jury vote for the other one. They can’t believe that things have shifted so much today, and now they feel like they actually have a chance. James says he doesn’t really trust Ryan and Natalie because they’ve screwed him over before, but he’s just going to do whatever he’s said he would and see how it all works out.
Sheila and Sharon are yapping together again, but it’s nothing new. Let’s just move on.
Natalie, Adam, and Ryan are all outside, and Adam is worried about this week’s vote. He thinks they’d be safer with Joshuah than Sharon. Ryan agrees, and Natalie says that they have to vote together, and that James has already said he’d be voting for Josh to stay. So this way Nat won’t have to break the tie. She’s happy about that. She mentions that James and Josh both want Sheila out, so she’s the target if one of them wins HoH.
A little while later though, it seems that Adam wants to keep Sharon instead. He tells this to Natalie, and instead of going into panic mode, she suggests they wait until tomorrow to talk about it again to see how things unfold. Adam agrees.
There’s a lot of chatter about what may or may not be coming up in the game. Luxury comp for clothes, double eviction week, another endurance competition, etc. I’m hopeful the double eviction week is coming soon. Really, really hopeful.
Natalie goes to Sharon and tells her that James, Josh, and Ryan are trying to get her out of the house. And now I’m thoroughly confused. Are they all just telling everybody anything they hear, to make sure all of their bases are covered? Natalie tells Sharon everything, except of course that she agreed to it all. Sharon is getting a little anxious now, and she’s trying to pin everything on James. She even says that James is homeless and a con artist, and he shouldn’t win the game. That’s all well and good, but James can’t be evicted this week. She says that James and Josh are extremely tight, but with Josh gone she feels no loyalty to James and will help the rest of them get him out of the house.
Ryan and Adam are playing pool and talking about who they should evict this week. Adam is truly scared of being on the block, and knows James would nominate him. He’s not too sure about Sharon, and thinks that he’d be safe with Josh. Ryan is flipping back and forth. Josh comes along and tells them that they’re both safe with him if they keep him, and mentions that the girls are all upstairs now plotting against the boys. Adam asks him which side he’s on – hee! Josh says, “Believe it or not, I actually do have a penis.”
Sheila has joined Sharon and Natalie, so the girls are indeed plotting. Natalie is saying that they shouldn’t worry if they see her talking to the boys, because she’s going to play along with it and get info from them. Sheila is talking a mile a minute about how badly the guys have played them and how it makes her sick to her stomach. They wonder which way Adam is leaning, and think maybe they should pull him in just to make sure that Josh is the one to go. Natalie says that she made a deal with James to keep herself safe, but doubts that he plans to keep his word. She went along with it because that’s what everyone else does.
Natalie says that she’s going to tell Josh that she’s sorry, but he is the bigger threat to her because of how close he is with James. She says she’s not going to forget how the two of them treated her, and will make sure one of them leaves the house this week. Sheila is now ranting about Ryan flipping sides and what a traitor he is. Natalie is worried that the guys are going to be suspicious of them all up there together. Too late for that though.
Natalie goes downstairs and find James and Josh. They ask her where the other girls are, and she says that Sheila is listening to music and Sharon is upstairs crying again because Josh is leaving. She says she was up there comforting her. Adam comes in and tells Natalie that they need to do the dishes, so she leaves. James says that he thinks Natalie, Ryan, and Adam are still working together and doesn’t trust them. Josh says it’s okay, as long as he stays they can put Adam and Ryan on the block next week.
Natalie tells Adam that Sheila wants Josh out. Adam says it’s all getting messed up and he doesn’t know what’s going on. Someone finds one of Sheila’s tampons in the garbage, and this becomes a hot topic with the guys getting on her case about disposing of her personal hygiene products.
Ryan and Adam keep talking about who to keep, Josh or Sharon? Adam says that they should keep Sharon if she promises them that she’ll put James on the block if she wins HoH. Meanwhile, James and Josh are trying to convince Natalie that Adam and Sheila need to be broken up.
Adam and Ryan take a tampon and dip it in salsa, then put it in the toilet. Sheila is the one to find it, and she comes running out telling them how gross they are. Hey, at least it only went in the toilet. It could have been much worse. James sees it, fishes it out with a bowl, and leaves the bowl on Sheila’s night table. Good times. Then they’re all trying to think up new ways to play tricks on Sheila.
Josh scares her by jumping out at her while she’s on the way to the bathroom. Then they get her to sit down in the kitchen, and James pours water on her from upstairs. She was taking it well and being a good sport about everything earlier, but now it seems she’s getting a little pissed off. Sheila goes to bed, and the rest of them try to find good hiding spots to jump out from and scare her tomorrow. Natalie wants to hide in the garbage can and pop out at Sheila in the morning. She even practices this.
Soon afterwards, everyone is getting ready for bed. There are quick little conversations about strategy all over the place, but they all boil down to “we’ll talk again tomorrow.” If I had to guess, I’d say that Natalie is actually planning to stick to the girls’ alliance. But I really can’t be 100% sure of that.

BB9 Video — James Goes Off on Sheila
I couldn’t really do this clip justice in the recap, so here it is. The sound quality clears up eventually.

Big Brother Live Feeds, March 27th, Part Two – James Goes Awf
We’re back from trivia, and as expected James and Josh are on the block. James is sitting on his bed alone, while Adam, Sheila, and Ryan are in the kitchen telling Nat that her speech was really good. Joshuah is in his underwear in the bathroom, shaving again. His legs, chest, and nether regions. Lucky me. Sharon is in there with him. Lucky her.
The kitchen crew are joking around now about Sheila finding Adam sexy. Adam grabs her from behind and pretends to hump her, then lays a sloppy kiss on her cheek. She’s laughing and pushing him away. She tells him to leave her alone and go “choke the monkey.”
Ryan and Adam throw a ball of paper at each other, which lands on the floor. Ryan goes to pick it up and splits his pants. Heh. Guess the slop diet came at a good time for him.
James is up and walking around, but not talking to anyone. He goes to sit in the sauna as most of the others head for the backyard. Sheila comes in to join him and he wants to know what he did to her that she wants him out of the house. She starts talking about all the stuff Chelsia did to her, and then says that James told Ryan she wanted him out and would put him on the block when she never said that to him. She says that she was trying to help him by telling him that there was a plan to have him backdoored, and then he repays that by lying about her.
Sheila turns it around a little by telling James that he’s the strongest player in the house and she thinks he’ll win the veto this week. She starts talking about Chelsia again, and James tells her that he wasn’t behind any of that and it’s not fair that he should have to pay for her actions when she’s already gone. James tells her that her “group” is going to turn on her, and she says she knows. They both think the house will split again soon, along gender lines.
Natalie and Josh are talking, and it sounds like Josh is scared that Sheila is going to turn on them because James is constantly in her ear and she’s easily swayed. Natalie tells him not to worry, the worst that can happen is a tie and she’s the tie-breaker. She wants James out of this house and sent to Matt as a birthday present. She leaves to go listen to her CD, and Josh tries to eavesdrop on the Sheila/James conversation.
He goes to the kitchen where Natalie and Sharon are, and Sheila comes out as well. Sheila says that she was talking to James about Chelsia. James goes outside with Sharon, and tells her that he has to win every single veto from now on, because all of them want him out of the house. Sharon tells him that it’s only because he’s such a strong player, and they all want him gone because they’re scared of him.
Sheila comes out and apologizes to James, saying that she was just so upset by what Chelsia said to her before leaving. James says it’s done, not to worry. They think that BB will have something set up for them on April Fool’s Day, and wonder what it could be. One of them mentions that James will once again boomerang back into the house, but Sharon points out that April first is actually a Tuesday, so it’s not a live eviction night. Whew.
Sheila asks him if he’s scared or intimidated by anyone in the house. He thinks on it, and says that Natalie is his equal in physical competitions, and that Adam is far smarter than he is. Sheila agrees. Hee! James says that he said in the DR that he was willing to do whatever it takes to stay in the game. He even offered to break his fingers again. Didn’t make sense the first time he mentioned that plan, and it sure doesn’t make sense now. Anyway, the DR people said no. Go figure. James admits that Matt intimidated him.
Sheila mentions Chelsia and their fights again. James points out that Chelsia isn’t there any more so they don’t need to keep discussing it. But then he says that the whole thing during the week that Matt left where Chelsia was making them think she wasn’t with James was an act. Sheila thanks him for being honest. Good grief. They spent to whole following week boinking each other, so I doubt this was a huge secret.
Adam is in the bathroom and Sheila walks in while he’s just finishing up on the toilet. Guess he forgot to use the “occupied” sign. Sheila comes running out telling everyone that she just walked in on Adam “mid-wipe.” They’re all laughing about this one.
Natalie gets called to the DR, and Adam yells out, “Let’s get ready for the veto competition!” They’re not going to do that tonight, are they? I’m all for a couple more hours of flames, but that would mean that the next several days are going to be full of nothing but idle talking and lame-ass strategy sessions. Don’t to this to us, BB.
Natalie comes out and says it’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Ruh roh. After a few minutes of flames, they’re back and Adam is the only one not playing. Josh is getting psyched for the comp already, but I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not. They apparently had to tell BB their sizes, so they think there will be a uniform of some kind involved. And that’s good, because BB obviously didn’t have their sizes on hand, so the comp can’t possibly be ready for tonight.
There’s a lot of talk about Natalie, Sheila, or Sharon winning the veto. The guys (except James of course) all seem to want one of the girls to take it. Adam and James play pool, and Adam’s talking about not playing and being the one to put the veto necklace on the winner. James, ever the little ray of sunshine, says he has to win it or he’s doomed.
Everyone gathers at the hot tub except for James, who is in bed. They’re all speculating over what the competition will be like. Timed? Eliminating players? Physical? Puzzle? It’s all a complicated mystery.
Sharon goes up to Nat’s HoH room to listen to her CD. Sheila brings up the subject du jour again: Chelsia. She’s talking about the breastfeeding comment now, and thinks it had something to do with Natalie being able to squirt milk from her boobs. Clue stick on aisle four! Someone tells her that it was, but it also meant that she wasn’t riding coattails in the game. Oh brother.
Sheila says that James told her that he told Julie Chen that he thought she was the biggest threat in the house. Josh says that James has said that to him as well. Sheila thinks that means she’s going to win PoV tomorrow. She goes into the house, and Adam says he really hopes she does win it.
Everyone but Sharon and Josh goes inside. Josh tells her that if he wins the veto, he’s taking himself off the block – but if she wins it, she should keep the nominations the same. She agrees. She says that James really needs to go this week. They plan to keep Sheila around for a while, because she will flip on her alliance eventually and it will be easier to beat her in the comps.
Hamsters are gathered in the kitchen talking about … Chelsia and James and how they need to get James out this week. It’s the same old stuff, led mostly by Sheila and Natalie. But guess what? James isn’t sleeping any longer. He’s still in bed, but he’s listening to this conversation and stewing.
James comes out and tells them all that he heard everything they’ve been saying. He just wants to leave, it’s the same fucking thing every week. Sheila is trying to backpedal and say that she had to give Joshuah a pep talk because he was feeling so down about things. Sheila mentions Chelsia and James tells her to please shut up, he just got up after hearing them all slamming him. He says he’s not mad at her, he’s mad at the house. He wonders why no one holds Ryan responsible because of what Jen did in the house. They’re going to get married, while James just met Chelsia.
Sheila tries again to smooth things over, but James says he just heard everything, can’t she just give him that? She says okay, okay she can give him that. Then brings Chelsia up again. Even Adam is telling her to stop now. James tells her that he’s just mad about the whole situation, and she’s not helping things. He goes outside.
A few minutes later, Adam is out there too and saying that he’s always been straight with him. James says it’s fine, Adam put him on the block so James goes after him next – that all makes sense. But he doesn’t get why everyone in the house acts one way to his face and then they all talk about him behind his back. Same reason you do it James. See, he can be upset all he likes, but this is all stuff he does as well. If you’re going to talk shit about people when they aren’t around, don’t be surprised when they do it to you.
Ryan comes out and James says, “Even you – I fucking saved you and this is what I get in return?” Ryan looks at him like “what the hell?” James tells him the same thing he said to Sheila, that he’s not mad at Ryan, he’s mad at the house.
James goes to talk to Sharon in the bedroom. He’s saying that it doesn’t matter what happens, he’s on his own little island. He says that Natalie had told him that she was willing to work with him, but now he knows she was lying. Sharon says not to worry, they’ll figure something out like they always do.
Sheila and Natalie are outside, and Natalie is sharing her theory that James was jealous that Matt could have had Chelsia, so he had to take him out. Sheila is pissed off that James is mad at her for saying stuff, when he and his “little girlfriend” said way more crap about her. Meanwhile, James is walking through the house saying that he’s ready to make Sheila’s life a living hell for the next five days, and the seven days after that too if he wins the veto.
James goes outside and just launches right into Sheila. He’s only an inch away from her face at times, just screaming and cursing at her. He sounds like he’s about to cry. He’s talking fast and furious, but he says that she told him she wanted to work with him, that she had his back, and then calls her a lying fucking cunt. Sheila doesn’t do too badly here, yelling back at him and telling him she’s not going to do this, she’s had enough of this shit. BB brings us trivia for a minute, and then we get the end of the argument where James is walking into the house and Sheila’s saying, “thank you James.” Josh, who was listening to the whole thing, says, “Well, that was very intense.” Hee.
Natalie comes out of the DR having missed the entire scene, and James tells her that he just erupted on Sheila. He asks her not to let Sheila sleep in the HoH room so he can make her days and nights a living hell. James starts crying, saying that he’s completely alone in the game now. Natalie, who felt pretty much the same way two weeks ago and dealt with it so much better, tries to comfort him and tells him that he has Josh and Sharon.
Natalie says she had nothing to do with Chelsia leaving because she didn’t put them on the block. James shouts that Natalie had Adam wrapped around her finger, so she was involved. Adam goes in and asks James if he’s going to go off on him now. Adam says yes, he’s a threat and yes, people want him out of the house. James yells back at him, and Adam tells him to fuck himself. James tells him they’re cool, and Adam can go back to reading his bible. How does that work exactly?
Sheila finds Natalie and tells her to use the veto and put Sheila up – she’s had enough of this. If James wins veto then definitely put Sheila up, because she’s not going to do another week and a half of the screaming and lying. She’s worried about what her son is going to see on TV from all of this. Natalie says no way, she won’t do it. James had his chance – he could have won HoH and then his side would be taking out one of theirs. Instead he lost and now he’s acting like a baby.
Ryan and Adam go outside and say basically the same thing as Natalie just did. It’s a game and James’ side lost this week. Big deal. They go back inside and talk to James briefly, and they all say everything’s cool. Men deal with this stuff so much differently than women.
James, Josh, and Sharon have all gone to bed, but James is called to the DR. Adam and Ryan are also getting into bed now. Natalie comes down and talks to Josh and Sharon. Josh wants to know if Sheila was really giving James a pep talk in the sauna earlier, and Natalie says probably. They all agree that they have to really fight for the veto tomorrow, and Natalie leaves.
Josh is really scared now, because James is fired up and ready to take on the whole house. He’s worried that James will use his rage to win the veto tomorrow. Sharon tries to calm him, and even Adam comes in to give him a little encouragement. Josh gets up and talks to James in the kitchen. They’re both resolved that if they don’t get evicted this week, it’ll probably happen next week. James says he’s never been this angry in his life.
Sheila comes downstairs to get her things, but she’s planning on sleeping in the HoH room. James asks her if she’s okay and she says that she asked Natalie to put her on the block if the veto is used. James wants to know why, and she says that Sharon shouldn’t have to be the pawn again. He asks if she’s sleeping upstairs and she says yes.
Sheila goes back upstairs and she’s yelling at Natalie about Adam and Sharon throwing her under the bus. At least I think that’s what she’s upset about, because all of her tantrums are starting to sound the same. Kind of like the teacher in the Charlie Brown shows. She says that Natalie had better put Sharon up if one of the boys come off the block, because she only told James and Josh she was going up to try and fool them. Why? I have no idea. Natalie assures Sheila she’s not going on the block this week and asks her to calm down.
Downstairs Saint James is lamenting that he wanted to be friends with everyone (even though he said weeks ago that he hates all of them) but they’re all just using him. Boo hoo. He and Josh continue to wallow in their “on the block” sorrow. How they are the “different” ones in the house and they knew all along that the cool kids wouldn’t want them in their alliance. Guys, this worked for Rupert, but I’m not sure it’s going to endear viewers this time.
Now Josh is saying that they’re just America’s bitches and there to entertain people. That’s right boys, and at the moment? Not so entertaining. I’m just sayin’. They head for the bathroom, hopefully to get ready for bed, and James is saying that there’s got to be some way to keep them both in the house this week. He hopes that Sheila was serious and that Natalie would really put her on the block, because then they could work the house to get rid of her.
Much talk ensues about having to win the veto, and waiting until after the comp to figure out what to do next. Brilliant. James feels that he’d be letting Chelsia down if he follows her to sequester. Josh says that he’s not going to go off on anyone any more, because now he’s going to have to be with all of these people, either in the house or in sequester, until the game is over. They decide to get some sleep to be ready for the epic PoV comp tomorrow.
While everyone else in the house is sleeping, James gets up and does his usual nightly thing, wandering the house and trying to look pensive. He goes and sits in the hot tub, and Sheila comes out to get her laundry. I thought she was sleeping. They don’t speak to each other until Sheila is on her way back into the house, and she tells him, “Good luck tomorrow.”
James sits in the hot tub for a while, and then goes and has a shower. Then he’s back in bed like a good little hamster. Seems the excitement is over for yet another day.
