Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, March 30th, Part One – Josh Hatches a Plan
Author Carrie
I’d like to thank Laura for her overview of the last two days. Hee! It’s not too far from accurate! But just in case you need a bit more detail, let’s dive in and try to get caught up for real, shall we?
Everyone’s up at just after 10am today, and they’re all bugging Sheila right away about all of the shoes on the counter. Sheila doesn’t seem that impressed with it, saying that the shoes actually confused her and she didn’t get that it was a prank aimed at her. Natalie points out the dirty hand prints on the fridge. Once again, Sheila looks a little confused, as if she’s not quite sure how this would directly affect her. I would too, since it certainly wouldn’t be me cleaning them off.
There’s some chatter about Sheila having dreams about past hamsters, like Nick and Eric. They wonder if Eric will come back to host a comp this season, and then remember that he was already there. HA! Oh, I think I hurt something laughing at that.
Sheila’s bitching to Joshuah about flour-gate. Sharon and Josh are both getting ready for the nomination ceremony, saying that they have to look pretty in their nomination chairs.
Adam and Ryan go outside to once again debate keeping Joshuah or Sharon. This morning it seems that they want to keep Josh, because he dances in the morning. Very good strategy, boys. Sheila comes out and they tell her the plan, and she disagrees. Natalie joins them too, and the boys tell her that if they keep Sharon she’d have to dance for them every morning. Good grief. But now they’re all talking like they’re going to keep Sharon, but only if she gives them her slop pass.
Sharon comes outside and they tell her the plan: she has to dance for them in the mornings and give up her slop pass. Sheila’s laughing, and Sharon says she’ll work on the dancing. And then they’re talking about engagement rings and diamonds. Ryan is scared because Jen knows all about rings and wants a good one. Why does that not surprise me? Sheila says she’s been engaged a number of times, but always ended up giving the ring back because she has commitment issues.
Natalie goes inside and tells Josh about Sheila’s failed engagements. Josh wants to know about the votes though, and if he has them. Natalie launches into a spiel about how Adam is a follower and will vote with Ryan, so Josh has to work on Ryan for the vote. She repeats that she doesn’t want to break a tie, but if the vote goes 2-2 she will keep him. Josh tells her that if she makes it to final two, she has his vote. Then he says that James won’t go after Natalie if Josh stays, but if he gets blindsided and Sharon stays, then James will be after Nat for vengeance. Which is a pile of crap – James just goes after whoever puts him on the block.
Speaking of James, he’s out of bed and has a bad case of the shakes. He says something about eating too much sugar, and when Natalie starts talking strategy to him, he tells her he really doesn’t care right now. He leaves, and Josh gets in Nat’s ear again about how Sharon is sneaky and would never put James on the block. Natalie says that she’ll talk to Adam and see what’s going on, and that the boys can be unpredictable so it might be out of her hands at this point since she can’t vote.
It’s time for flames and then an hours’ worth of trivia, so the veto ceremony must be underway.
When we return, Adam and Ryan are outside talking about taking over the house when they win HoH. Inside, Josh, James, Natalie, and Sheila are making small talk. No idea where Sharon is, but I’d assume she’s been nominated since no one in the house seems surprised by anything.
James is talking about taking strong players to the end, because carrying the weaker ones along doesn’t allow you to push yourself and experience everything the game has to offer. Maybe, but taking the weaker players gives you a better chance to experience the half-million the game has to offer. Sheila thinks that James is getting a dig in at her expense, and says that she’s really trying to win and has come close in a few competitions.
Ryan and Natalie go up to the HoH room and they’re concerned that Adam has made side deals with James and Josh. They waffle about the upcoming vote, and think maybe they should let it come down to a tie and then Natalie will keep Josh so he and James will go after Adam and Sheila. Apparently James said something during his veto ceremony speech about Adam throwing competitions and Sheila not being able to win anything, and this has them shaken up. Natalie now says that they should keep Sharon and bust up the Josh/James alliance, because they know that’s solid. If Adam has a deal with James, they’d just be making James’ alliance three-strong by keeping Joshuah.
They both agree that the only person in the house they can trust is each other. It seems that James said something about Team Christ calling final four, and Natalie laughs at this because she knows that James’ side did as well. They plan to bust up any conversations they see between Adam and James, and make sure that Adam knows that they’ll be coming after him if he throws any more competitions. Ryan says that Adam told him he only threw the early comps because he didn’t want to make any enemies, but he’s not doing that any more. Ryan leaves, and Natalie says she’s going to get changed and then head outside for some sun.
James is in the kitchen, and Ryan goes in and tells him that he doesn’t know what’s going on with the votes. He thinks it’s 50/50 right now. James is saying that it doesn’t matter at all, that if the house is divided then numbers don’t mean a thing. Uh, not sure I follow this, but okay. James is on about how he’s on an island by himself, blah blah blah, everyone wants him gone. Then he starts saying that there’s got to be a double eviction week coming up soon, and whoever wins the first HoH is going to get screwed because they don’t get any of the perks.
James and Ryan go outside to play pool, and they’re talking about pulling Adam in to save Joshuah. Man, I have NO clue who’s being straight with whom once again. James is saying that he’s looking out for Ryan, and Ryan is talking about Adam and Sheila still playing as a couple and that Sheila controls Adam’s votes. James wants to know how much Ryan trusts Natalie, because Sharon seems to be spending an awful lot of time with her lately. Ryan says he knows, and he’s not sure what’s going down.
Now they’re talking about how cool it is that they’re on CBS three hours a week. They wonder if they have fans, if people like them or not. James says they’re probably the most immature cast ever. Bingo. Ryan thinks they’ll be well-liked when they get out. Well sure, there are always people who go ga-ga over anyone from BB, no matter who they are. Cowboy still makes appearances at casting calls, and people ask him for autographs. It doesn’t take much, know what I’m sayin’? Anyway, the guys are now laughing about the fact that they’ve both had sex on television.
They talk about Jen a bit, and James thinks she has to be different on the outside than she was in the house. One would hope. Ryan says she played like a friggin’ idiot and she deserved to leave when she did. He mentions that she’s going to milk her short stint on the show for whatever it’s worth, and will try to get a spread in Maxim or do commercials. Good luck with that, Jen.
Adam is talking to Natalie and Sharon, getting really upset over James’ comment about throwing comps. He’s saying it’s messed up that James would say that, he’s not planning on throwing anything and hopes the rest of them believe that. Natalie says not to worry, James was only trying to get us to turn on each other and destroy their trust. She says she had a dream that Adam won HoH, and it felt real. She’s confident that he’s not going to throw anything. Sharon says that their odds will be 4-1 that they can win it and put James back on the block again.
Adam goes to play basketball with Ryan, while Natalie bashes Chelsia to Sharon for a while. Even Sharon says that Chelsia never talked to her, and they were supposed to be playing the game together. Sheila joins them, and they talk about winning HoH this week. They wonder if someone from last season will show up to host, and hope it’s Daniele. Sheila wants it to be Jen. Then Sheila asks if anyone could win the game if they’d never won HoH. Well Sheila, you could ask Dr. Will his thoughts on that one.
Ryan goes inside to sleep, and Adam comes back over to talk to the women. He starts talking about how Big Sheila has to step up and win something, and she says she wants to. This leads to a pep talk from Natalie, who says she shouldn’t say she WANTS to win, she should say she WILL win. Sheila repeats this, and then says that she hopes if it comes down to herself, Ryan, and Sharon, she hopes that the other two will drop out and let her have her pictures and letter from her son. Sharon would, but I’m not so sure about Ryan. They talk about putting James up again next week, and Sheila declares that he has to go next week. He has to!
Now the ladies are rehashing the injustices served them by Chelsia and James, including the pickle juice, the egg-smashing, and the flour toss.
Inside the house, James is waking up from a nap and talking to Joshuah. Josh says that Sharon is campaigning, and telling them that she’ll nominate James if she wins HoH. He tells James not to worry though, because Sharon wouldn’t actually do that. James thinks Sharon is spilling everything to Team Christ, and Josh says that he’s really trying not to think badly of Sharon this week, but it’s getting harder for him every day.
Josh gets up and has a quick update with Ryan. The situation is still the same, although Ryan says that it all hinges on Natalie this week. Speaking of things still being the same, the women are back to talking about Chelsia again.
Joshuah has come up with a plan, and he goes to explain it to Natalie. He’s been reading the rule book, and it says that, if he east food while on slop, he gets a penalty nomination. Since he’s already on the block, that means he won’t be able to play for HoH or PoV next week. So he wants Natalie to keep him in the house so that next week, even if James wins HoH, he’ll be on the block and the rest of them can vote him out. For some reason, Natalie thinks this is a great idea and wants to discuss it with the others. Josh says no way, it has to stay completely between the two of them. Natalie agrees to this, and they plan for Josh to eat a cheeseburger tonight and act like he’s flipping out.
I hope Natalie realizes that, if one of Team Christ wins HoH, James will go on the block and, if he doesn’t continue his veto streak, he’ll be going home. That means Josh will get a free pass for the next two weeks. Then again, having an alternative evictee just in case James wins HoH is a good thing. Tough call!
Dinner preparations are underway now, so we’ll wrap up part one and see what happens with Operation Cheeseburger in part two!
