Big Brother 9, Live Feeds, April 24th, Another Day In Paradise

Strategy Talks: Ryan and Adam get word that jury questioning will happen at midnight. They’re really suprrised, as they didn’t know this would be happening. They just thought they’d be giving the jury speeches to entice them into voting for them. They also talk about not realizing how the 3 part HoH would work. They thought the first out in the endurance comp wouldn’t be able to play the next night for part 2. Now, what sense does that make? Why would it be the person that won part 1 and the other person playing again?

Ryan thinks Sharon is going to ask if they are taking care of her fur-riends and thinks Sheila will ask what he’ll spend the money on. Adam probably gets closer, thinking she’ll ask if he threw the last HoH. Adam proposes a question to Ryan, asking why he deserves to win over Sheila, and his response is fuck it; she didn’t deserve it.

Adam practices his prepared speech, planning to use the autism card, and letting the jurors know they can make it all possible. He plans to say he is there to help the children and family members affected by autism and that everything he has had in his life he has earned. He wants to say he played a well-balanced game and took time away from his career to do this for the kids. He did what he had to to win, took risks, made alliances, and gave people breaks when he needed to, as it’s not about winning the most comps. I don’t know about this group, but jurors in years past would have chewed him up and spit him out after that load of crap.

Ryan figures the jury is fucked up already, and they’ll get some mean drunken questions. He’s most likely figuring it right. They talk about only hearing the jury and not seeing them, and Ryan wishes they didn’t have to do it in the living room, but could do it somewhere else, mentioning the sitting area up by HoH wasn’t used much this year, other than Sharon spying and being a moley mole.

Smoke Watch: Adam is now at a point to thank BB for helping him quit smoking. This is a huge improvement for him after begging Allison Grodner for smokes yesterday.

BeeBees Moment of the Day: Adam walks by the guinea pig cage and asks what’s wrong with BooBoo, thinking maybe he’s dead. Ryan counters that he’s depressed, as he’s upset about the whole Sharon deal. Adam even tries to say BeeBees the same way Sharon used to, but Ryan says he sucks at it and thinks Sharon annoyed her fur-riends too.

Jurors Strike Back: After the midnight jury questioning, Adam says that James, Chelsia, Matt, and Natalie were surprisingly the most level-headed, where Sharon, Sheila, and Josh were just crazy. He says Hoops came out. He also feels it’s good the jurors will all be separated after this so they can’t stew on all this together. Adam thinks James is a good dude, smart and level-headed, and could have won the game.

Of all the bizarre possible questions, Josh asked Ryan if he was going to eat the GPs, and Adam brought up to Josh how he had cried on Adam’s shoulder. The other jurors were trying to make gay jokes about Ryan and Adam, and Adam admits to being close to snapping. Ryan is denying the F2 deal with Sharon, so she must have brought that up. Adam thinks they’re all fucking morons, because throwing comps is part of the game. Sounds like he got called out on what he feared he would be. He can’t believe Sharon actually thinks she threw the comps.

Ryan talks about Sheila feeling she did a lot to get Adam to the end of the game, and this causes Adam to rant about the time Sheila put him on the block, making him win PoV to save himself. And what about the time you put her on the block? He also mentions he was the one saving her from eviction the first three times, and wonders how she thought she was saving him, unless she means when Natalie was after him.

Adam hopes Josh gets old with cancer and dies, calling him an MF. Adam figures the jury must see a lot of tapes of what happens in the house, and if he does All Stars, he knows what not to do now, no bragging. You think? He says whatever, they won, and they’re still “her N-word.” That’s right, people. I’ll type fuck, but not the N word. They mention that Sheila told them both they suck about four times and that they had to sit and bite their tongues. That’s a first.

Adam goes to get the rulebook and reads that the jurors are shown nomination ceremonies, veto meetings, evictions, and other group events. They aren’t shown any private conversations or DRs. I’m hoping he doesn’t think that means those of us at home didn’t see any of it either, and that the jurors won’t eventually find out all the nasty things they said, like saying if he were Jorge he’d go back to alcohol too, if he he had to sleep with Sheila.

Adam does point out that whoever goes into the SH can tell them whatever they want about what was said and done. He thinks that Sheila and Josh will probably vote for Ryan now, but Ryan disagrees because of Adam’s charity thing, thinking he should have come up with something like that as well.

Ryan hopes if he has to go to the premiere of What Happens In Vegas with Sharon, that it doesn’t have to be after he doesn’t get her vote. Adam hates Sheila, as she told Natalie he hated their morning routine. He wonders if you can spit in a person’s face here and still get the prize money. He suggests having his brother do it. Nice.

Maybe They are Human:
Ryan states that he wishes Matt was nicer to Natalie as she would have done anything for him, then played with a ladybug on his hand for awhile.

Quote of the Day: “Put your money where your mouth is Adam.” – Sheila in a leak from somewhere in the vicinity of the house after the jury questioning. She also called him a liar, saying she doesn’t want to give somebody like that money, despite the fact he played a good game.

My Thoughts: It sounds like Ryan and Adam got skewered by the jurors pretty good, although I don’t think it’s matching Erica or the Friendship’s shellshock. Regardless, it’ll make for a few great moments on Sunday’s show when we the jury go for the jugular.

Bottom line, even though he was skewered, after a few days to think about who deserves to win this game the most, Adam will be walking away with a motorcycle and $500,000, while Ryan leaves with $60,000 to start his life over with Jen.
