Big Brother Live Feeds, PoV Ceremony Goes as Expected

Author LauraBelle | 27.07.2008 | Category Big Brother

Basically, there was more drama and more fights yesterday surrounding the banner than there was today surrounding the PoV ceremony.

Fairly early in the day the PoV ceremony was held, and as expected, Keesha kept the nominations the same. Angie talked to Keesha and played it the absolute right way, while Jessie continues to not have a clue. The thing is, for him it wasn’t a matter of trying to save himself, but just keep himself safe. He just seems to keep digging his grave, and while it seems like the other side of the house plans to follow through and eliminate Angie, I don’t see how they can.

Angie and Keesha have peace with each other and find a comfortable place in their relationship, both saying they don’t have anything against the other. Angie assures her that she was not on her short list of people to put on the block, and Keesha appreciates that. Regardless, Angie still seems like she’s on her way out the door.

Jessie talks to Keesha and continues to beg to save himself, this time promising her safety next week. There is no plan, and never was, to vote him out this week. However, he now promises to keep her safe, making it seem like he’s worried about it. He tires saying that he has no friends in the house other than Keesha, and even Memphis is distancing himself from him.

I’m not sure who would ever believe that. It’s so contradictory. Number one, anyone with eyes and ears can tell he’s still close with the rest of his alliance. Aside from that, he was throwing everything at Keesha’s alliance yesterday, but now wants to crawl over and say he has no friends but her? That doesn’t even make sense.

Jessie then talks to Michelle, telling her that he was working Keesha over. He notes she isn’t even thinking for herself. As if when Jessie things for himself it somehow makes it better. It didn’t work any of the times Jessie begged Keesha to get what he wanted the past few days, but for some reason he thinks this is going to work. Shortly after, his conversation dissolves into asking Michelle if he looks any smaller, as he’s worried about losing some of his muscles apparently. If they were in his head, I’d say they were long gone.

If I were a houseguest, I’d be seriously considering keeping Angie around, as she is seeming to be much more stable. I think the Keesha’s alliance would have an easier time getting Angie to vote their way than Jessie.

Big Brother Live Feeds, All Hell’s Breaking Loose

Author LauraBelle | 26.07.2008 | Category Big Brother

Today all hell seems to be breaking loose. There’s an overall tension that would need more than a knife to cut it. I think it would need an axe. At times there’s so much going on, it’s hard to tell exactly what’s going down, but I’ll try my best to break it down.

With Keesha winning PoV, it increased tension in the Jessie/Michelle/Angie/Memphis alliance. It was their plan to be in Keesha’s face/ear the whole time before the PoV ceremony, but the only one that seems to be following through is Jessie, as he keeps cornering her again and again.

The calmest one is Angie, who simply went up to Keesha and mentioned her strong dislike for Libra, telling Keesha to take Jessie off the block. It seemed she was suggesting that Libra go up in his place, but Keesha is definitely unwilling to go this route.

Memphis is obvious still about his dislike of Jerry, but tries to get Keesha to put Libra up as well. Michelle is talking nonstop to Angie about everyone else. She actually gets in an altercation with Jerry, with him being upset that she was calling him a liar. It ended with him flipping her the bird and walking away.

But the worst one causing trouble today is Jessie. He has been assured by nearly everyone that he isn’t the target this week and that Angie is. Yet, he just can’t get over it that he’s on the block and didn’t win PoV. Jerry and Jessie even got into it as Jerry again is thinking he’s being called a liar, and he keeps trying to explain to Jessie he isn’t even the target. But Jessie fires back telling Jerry he lied to Keesha, and Jerry then screams at Jessie, telling him he’s vain, a pain in the ass, an idiot, and a jerk. Yep, that about covers it.

In the midst of all the tension, a banner plane goes up and we lose our feeds for about twenty to thirty minutes. No one seems to have gotten a clear look at what the banner plane says, except Memphis, who claims it says, “Keesha, Libra a liar. Love, Steven.” Now, this could be taken several ways, it could be someone claiming to be Steven is calling out Keesha and Libra for lying, or he is letting Keesha know that Libra is a liar. Regardless, whoever sent that up got his money’s worth out if it.

While the feeds were down, it seems that Jerry now got into it with Memphis. Jerry called him a womanizer. Renny defended Memphis, saying she knows a womanizer, and he isn’t one. She wouldn’t call hm that. Dan claims he wouldn’t call anyone in the house a womanizer, and that’s probably a sound decision. Michelle complains to April that Jerry is out of line, but April says she thinks Memphis is out of line, as he was making threats against Jerry.

Jessie then corners Libra and Keesha in the kitchen and tries to force their issues. He had corned April earlier about the same thing. He is saying Libra, April, and Ollie told him to put up Steven, and if he did, they promised to keep him safe this week . He followed through, but now they didn’t keep their end of the bargain. April had told him she isn’t the HoH, so couldn’t help that. Libra denies having any part of Steven being on the block. She in no way wants Keesha to know she was behind that. Jessie won’t let any of it go, though, as he keeps digging himself a deeper hole while trying to dig Libra’s. Regardles, when he’s done, Libra tells him she still isn’t going to vote him out.

In the end, Memphis tells Angie he’s not sure what the banner said and he made it up about calling Libra a liar. He thinks it really said “We love Libra.”

Big Brother 10, July 25th - Veto Winner and Green Unitards

Author Carrie | 25.07.2008 | Category Big Brother

The live feeds went to bubbles for over three hours this afternoon, and when they came back things got pretty interesting! Keesha has won the veto, and both Libra and Jessie are sporting green unitards. It’s hard to tell what exactly the comp was all about, but Jessie is amazed that Keesha did so much better than he did. Keesha is saying something about not having to stay in there for too long, wearing flower hats, and having worms and dirt dumped on them. Sounds fun!

From what I can tell, the unitards were actually part of the comp. I guess they had to actually be flowers and stand in fertilizer or something.

Libra is upset, of course, because she came in second again. She wants to win something badly. Especially food, I would imagine. She can’t be enjoying the food options they have this week. Libra, April, and Keesha are talking about Memphis and why he was so angry he didn’t win, and Keesha says that he was planning to use it on Jessie, because she only made him promise not to use it on Angie.

Jessie and Michelle talk and decide that they have to be the last people in Keesha’s ear before the Veto Ceremony, so that she doesn’t decide to take Angie off the block and replace her with Michelle. Which is an option that she’s toying with. Everyone is planning on spending some quality time with Keesha in the HoH room as a matter of fact, and you just know that it’s going to drive her nuts.

Jessie the genius decides that they need to start some rumours so keep attention off of themselves. He wants to tell Jerry that the house wants him gone (well, that’s not really a rumour there, is it?) and he wants to tell Dan that Libra is the one who convinced Jessie to put Dan on the block.

Angie tells Memphis that she’s going to ask Keesha to take Jessie off the block. Why? I really don’t know. Meanwhile, Jessie tells Michelle that one of them has to win HoH next and put up April and Ollie. Neither of which has been a challenge or strategical threat in the game. But at least Renny seems to be in the clear for a while, so I’m good with that plan.

Keesha promises April to stick with her until final two, and April gives the same promise. They want to target Libra soon because neither one of them likes her very much, but they seem to understand that they need her now for the numbers. April swears that she never said anything at all about Keesha’s relationship with Steven. Can you see this as a clip on one of the shows next week? This is where we cut to April pointing out that Keesha is a floater because of all the time she spends with Steven.

Renny’s birthday is coming up on Tuesday, so I sure hope BB does something nice for her!
