Internet Radio Show This Afternoon - Come Join Us!

Author Carrie | 03.07.2008 | Category Big Brother, RealityShack News & Updates

One of the things we’re planning to do for this season of Big Brother is an online radio talk show, probably weekly but possibly twice a week. Laura and I are going to do our first show this afternoon - it’ll be a test run, but we’ll be discussing BB10 and all the gossip surrounding it, as well as what we’re hoping to see this season. If you’ve got some free time, why not stop by? You can listen online, participate in a live chat, and/or call in and talk to us!

The show starts at 1pm Central/2pm Eastern, and is scheduled for 30 minutes. You can join us right here: Blog Talk Radio - Reality Shack. If you can’t make it live, you can still hit the link above to listen to the archived show.

Hope to see you there!

BB10 Hamster Updates & House Calls Schedule

Author Carrie | 03.07.2008 | Category Big Brother

I’m a little behind in my hamster gossip this season, probably because of BB9. It just seems too early to be doing all of this again. But here we are, less than two weeks before the premiere, and there’s news to share.

A few notes on the hamsters themselves first. We know there will be 13 of them from the ads, and the rumours about the age diversity are confirmed. More of the older people and fewer bikini baristas young’uns in the house is good news. It also appears that the “polar opposites” theme is accurate, so they’re trying to manufacture tension right off the bat. Also, in an interview with We Love Big Brother, Allison Grodner confirmed that none of the hamsters have preexisting relationships. Let me repeat that, because it hasn’t happened since Season 3: The Houseguests Are All Strangers. Can I get a ‘woohoo’ and an ‘oh yeah!’?

As for the house, it’ll have rooms that reflect upon the houseguests themselves. This ought to be interesting. Grodner also gave out a little teaser, that the game will begin before the hamsters even enter the house. Will they vote to evict someone before moving in? Will they have a competition right out front? Who knows, except that I’m not going to get my hopes up that this will be a big and awesome twist.

One other thing that Grodner mentioned was that the “live audiences will involve fans more than audiences in Season 1.” Read into this what you will. I’m just hoping they allow signs and t-shirts and stuff. And while we’re at it, how about letting a banner plane or two go by?

Finally, here’s the complete schedule for guest hosts on House Calls, the internet Big Brother talk show. Gretchen Massey will return each day, along with:

  • Mondays: Daniele Donato, BB8
  • Tuesdays: Bunky Miller, BB2
  • Wednesdays: Sheila Kennedy, BB9
  • Thursdays: Evel Dick Donato, BB8
  • Fridays: Kaysar Ridha, BB6
