Big Brother Live Feeds, 08/15/08, L-O-Double L-I

Posted on Friday, August 15, 2008 in Big Brother

According to Memphis, the HoH couldn’t have ended more perfectly. He and Keesha state the obvious that after April, Ollie, and Jerry were out, they didn’t care who won. April and Ollie retreat to the bed to figure out their woes and decide if they can get one of them and Jerry up, they can save each other. Well, that can only happen if the odd man out gets to play in the PoV. With eight people left in the house, that leaves one to host and one person to not go anywhere near the comp at all.

April starts to work her magic that won’t work this week, suggesting to Michelle that Renny should put up Dan and Jerry, because Jerry put up Jessie and Renny for fighting, and now Dan and Jerry are fighting. Ummm, yeah. Michelle leaves, and April tells Ollie she wishes Michelle wouldn’t fake it, as it’s so obvious she made a deal with the others.

Big Brother Live Feeds 08/09/08, Cry Me a River

Posted on Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Big Brother

After Keesha and Libra were nominated, Dan went up to HoH to thank Michelle, prompting her to ask why he couldn’t thank her up front, and not in front of his alliance. He laughs it off. She tells him if he plays PoV, he better not win and take someone off the block.

Keesha is a little down about the whole thing and says she doesn’t even care if she leaves, but Renny says she cares. She tries to keep her spirits up, and they decide Libra will just have to go home this week, and that’s all there is to it. Keesha worries that she’ll be the one voted out, though, because Libra is too obvious of a threat. The thing is, though, they’re working with an obvious enemy who is going after the obvious threat.

Big Brother Live Feeds 08/09/08, Catching Up

Posted on Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Big Brother

You’ll have to pardon us for being a little unexcited about following the show since Michelle won. It felt so good to get Jessie out, but that excitement sure faded quickly a few minutes later when Michelle won the HOH. So here’s what has happened since.

As soon as the live show kicked off on Thursday night, a huge fight ensued as Michelle screamed “traitors” in the back yard. This had everyone at Libra’s throat who tried to explain she was the only one that said she did want Jessie out. Why does that make her a traitor? Jerry and Michelle are both screaming, but this time not at each other. Jerry calls Libra a dumb bitch, but she’s quick to explain she graduated magna cum laude from “fucking Rice.” It’s one of those things that just doesn’t even need a comment from me.

Big Brother Live Feeds 8/4/08, The Realigning of Alliances

Posted on Monday, August 4, 2008 in Big Brother

Finally we have a chance to flip the vote and alliances this week after seven forming the super alliance last week. With some of the arguments that had gone down, it seemed lines had been drawn and there was no going back, but all that is changing, somewhat because of us and America’s Player.

Much of this seemed to start with Keesha. We know she’s her own woman. This gal doesn’t take crap. Last week, she was able to get everyone to vote the way she wanted to get out Angie, even though they all wanted Jessie out, and now she’s the one that’s starting the switcheroo. She started working up an alliance with Memphis, mostly borne out of her hatred of April. She hates the fact that April doesn’t like it when she talks to other people not in her alliance. She claims she can talk to whomever she wants, and you know, I have to support her on that one.

Big Brother 10 Live Feeds, August 1st - Veto Results and More Tantrums

Posted on Saturday, August 2, 2008 in Big Brother

The feeds went to trivia quite late - or should I say quite early in the morning of August 2nd - and didn’t come back until a little after 2:30am Big Brother time. And it seems that Jerry won the veto! He’s on slop though, thanks to Memphis the bartender. Michelle is stuck wearing the red unitard, Libra won a vacation, Memphis the bartender has a slop pass, Jessie gets a letter from home, and a few of them have gold bricks worth $1000 each. Jerry has $5000, April has $4000, and Libra has $1000. Apparently they can use them during the game to buy votes or safety.

April and Ollie still want Memphis the bartender gone, but the rest of the group really wants Jessie out. April says that if Jessie says anything to her or makes remarks about her family, then he’s out. Jerry is concocting an elaborate plan the threaten Memphis the bartender and to tell him that Jerry controls whether he stays or goes this week. The rest of them tell Jerry no way. April is feeling sorry for herself, saying that she’s been carrying the group so far and there’s only so much she can do to continue keeping them safe. Uh, what?

Big Brother 10 Live Feeds, August 1st - Major Screaming Matches

Posted on Saturday, August 2, 2008 in Big Brother

The nomination ceremony today took a lot longer than usual, and even the hamsters were annoyed. April has nominated Memphis and Jessie after having a talk with Michelle to explain that her promise was to keep Jessie safe, not to keep him off the block. Michelle agreed that the promise was just to keep Jessie safe, so April went forward with her nominations. She told Ollie afterwards that she was scared to nominate Jessie. Good - maybe that will push her to want to get rid of him this week.

America obviously voted for Dan to get Jessie nominated, so he’s pocketed a little bit of cash. Funny thing is though that, while he was in the DR, Libra went around saying that she knows he’s America’s Player, and she’s mentioned it quite a few times today. She’ll get a kick out of all this when the game is done!

Big Brother Live Feeds - End of HoH Comp

Posted on Friday, August 1, 2008 in Big Brother

This was the most boring endurance competition I’ve ever watched. There were long stretches of no one saying anything. There wasn’t any deals going on until the very end. In addition, once people were out, they didn’t get extremely mad and fly off the handle. What’s up with that? No one was even eating in front of the others, rubbing it in that they could. The people that were out just sat there on the park benches staring blankly. Exciting stuff!

Dan was the only one that was running his mouth. He was doing Karate Kid trivia and football motivational speeches to everyone. It was riding a fine line between being entertaining and extremely interesting.
