What’s Hot On TV Tonight – 30 Rock Is Back!

30 Rock is back! I’m not sure why, but they always start later than the other series. It’s most likely just some good shuffling on the part of the programmers. It allowed Community  to get a head start in audience, attached to The Office, and now that it starts off the night, 30 Rock can move back in to its natural spot. Did it work? Are you watching Community now?

1. Regis and Kelly. The guests today are Mario Lopez, John Cleese, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. 48 Hrs. There are many great moments in this movie, but the one I always think of is, “Rooooooxaaaaaanne.” 10:30 AM CT AMC

3. Marley & Me. I don’t know what I liked best about this story, the writer’s search for the right outlet for his voice, or the adorable dog. 12:00 PM CT HBO2 West

4. Bonnie Hunt Show. The guests today are Toby Keith, Kristin Cavallari, and PJ Lukac. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. Survivor: Samoa. It’s the one we always wait for, the gross food challenge! 7:00 PM CT CBS

6. Community. Senor Chang threatens to flunk the whole Spanish class trying to trap a cheater. When someone does confess, Jeff comes to help. Pierce is asked to write a song for the school. 7:00 PM CT NBC

7. Flash Forward. Bryce thinks a patient’s flash forward may be the way to a correct diagnosis and treatment, but Olivia is unconvinced. Demetri and Mark argue over how they handled their flashbacks, and Nicole goes back to work as Charlie’s babysitter and shares that she saw a murder. 7:00 PM CT ABC

8. Vampire Diaries. Stefan explains to Elena his family’s history and how the rivalry with Damon started, Damon wants to take control of Vicki’s life, but she runs away, and the sheriff and mayor take measures to protect Mystic Falls.  7:00 PM CT CW

9. Bones. A missing Egyptian mummy from an exhibition turns up before the curator in charge is murdered, Brennan has a date with Booth’s boss, and Sweets’ girlfriend goes back to the lab. 7:00 PM CT Fox

10. Parks and Recreation. The Parks and Rec dept. from Boraqua, Venezuela, the sister city of Pawnee, visits, and Leslie can’t get over the cultural differences. April plays hard to get. 7:30 PM CT NBC

11. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The CSIs need to figure out if one cop shooting another cop was accidental or not, and the evidence shows it could have been racially motivated. 8:00 PM CT CBS

12. The Office. Dwight and Andy think a visiting insurance salesman is Mafia and try to convince Michael of the same. Ellie has a brush with notoriety as she accidentally destroys Pam’s painting. 8:00 PM CT NBC

13. Grey’s Anatomy. On Day 1 of the hospital merger, the residents believe their jobs could be on the line. They could be, especially Izzie’s. Callie’s dad has a priest try to convince her to date men, and when she gets angry, Arizona stands by her. 8:00 PM CT ABC

14. Supernatural. Sam and Dean look into a series of murders that mirror fairy tales and urban legends, and their investigation takes them to an 11-year-old boy who can make everything he believes come true. Castiel believes the boy is a threat. 8:00 PM CT CW

15. Fringe. The team works on decoding dreams after investigating a Seattle man’s scary visions that caused him to attack his boss, and Broyles has a meeting with Nina Sharp. 8:00 PM CT Fox

16. Police Women of Broward County. Andrea brings down a drug dealer who is twice her size, Julie goes undercover, Ana arrests a stripper for possession, and Shelunda investigates a brawl. 8:00 PM CT TLC

17. Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. It’s the Berrics vs. The Fantasy Factory. 8:00 PM CT MTV

18. 30 Rock. The season premiere has a desperate Jack tyring to cut expenses and boost Liz’s show’s popularity, and it inspires Tracy to reach out to the public. Liz and Pete look for new talent, and Kenneth participates in a strike. Steve Buscemi guest stars. 8:30 PM CT NBC

19. Bully Beatdown. The featured bully is Emil, the Beefy Barbarian Bully.8:30 PM CT MTV

20. The Mentalist. The team investigates the murder of an attorney who had just one main client, a dangerous motorcycle gang. 9:00 PM CT CBS

21. Jay Leno Show. Matt Lauer and Jeff Dunham are the guests.9:00 PM CT NBC

22 Private Practice. Addison isn’t the only doctor happy to see Miranda Bailey arrive with kidney patient. Addison starts paying the price for being involved with Noah, and the identity of Violet’s baby’s father is revealed.  9:00 PM CT ABC

23. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Dee is jealous that The Waitress is getting married. Lovelorn Charlie gets back into the dating scene, thanks to the other guys.  9:00 PM CT FX

24. Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kim and Sheree attempt to settle their differences while planning an engagement party for Kandi. Kandi and AJ visit a marriage counselor … along with Kandi’s mom. NeNe goes back to Athens, and runs into the man who claims to be her father. 9:00 PM CT Bravo

25. Project Runway. “Sequins, Feathers, and Fur, Oh My!” 9:00 PM CT Lifetime
