What’s Hot On TV Tonight – The Amazing Race Final Four

There will be a lot of excitement tonight on The Amazing Race. Brian and Ericka were lucky to get a non-elimination round last week, but will now be hit with a speed bump, and they stay in Prague, so they won’t have an equalizer of a flight to help them out. The speed bumps usually don’t require them to do much, but they don’t even have a spare five minutes this week. One team will not be able to finish a Roadblock and will be forced to take a four hour penalty. Again, no one has that kind of time. It’s going to be one where we’re kept on the edges of our seats.

1. The Wiz. Modern urban version of The Wizard of Oz, based on a Broadway musical, starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. Ease On Down the Road replaces We’re Off to See the Wizard. 11:40 AM CT Retro

2. NFL Football: Colts at Texans. I’ll ask the same thing I did last week. Can Indianapolis stay unbeaten? 12:00 PM CT CBS

3. Thelma & Louise. Mad at the men in your life? This movie will take care of that. 2:30 PM CT WGN

4. Holiday Celebration On Ice. REO Speedwagon and Rick Springfield perform in this skating exhibition. It’s like my 80s teenaged fantasies come to life! Skating are Brian Boitano, Jeffrey Buttle, Michael Weiss, Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon, Jozef Savovcik, Shae Lynn Bourne, Elvis Stojko, Steven Cousins, and Caryn Kadavy. 3:00 PM CT NBC

6. 60 Minutes. The war brought about by gold mining by warlords that’s killing millions in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a profile of Robert Ballard who discovered the Titanic, the Bismarck, and PT-109 while he explores the Aegean Sea searching for his latest find. 6:00 PM CT CBS

7. America’s Funniest Home Videos. Past host Bob Saget comes back to celebrate the 20th anniversary. 6:00 PM CT ABC

8. The Amazing Race 15. It looks like a good one tonight as one team gets a four hour penalty when they can’t finish a Roadblock, and another comes across drunk locals. 7:00 PM CT CBS

9. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. A family of ten gets their home redone because of safety issues with their children,  including a 9-year-old with leukemia. Patrick Dempsey helps out, as well as a surprise movie star. 7:00 PM CT ABC

10. The Simpsons. The Simpson clan gets stranded, winding up with their introduction to the wonders of withcraft and moonshine. Neve Campbell provides a guest voice. 7:00 PM CT Fox

11. 15 X-Treme X-Mas Decorations. In a countdown of the most outrageously inspired holiday-decorated homes in the United States, we’ll visit a woman who combines her two big loves, Christmas and smiley faces, into one awesome obsession, and another in Oahu who decks the halls with everything from surf decorations to real-life holiday hula dancers. From a San Francisco home that boasts over 50,000 lights and a 20-foot Christmas tree made out of pie tins, to two neighbors in New Jersey, who duke it out every year in an effort to “outdo” each other and be crowned king of the neighborhood!  7:00 PM CT FLN

12. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert. The 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, featuring performaces by Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Arethan Franklin, Bruce Spingsteen and the E Street Band, Jeff Beck, and U2. Metallica, Stevie Wonder, Mick Janner, Patti Smith, and John Fogerty will appear as well. 7:00 PM CT HBO East

13. Sunday Night Football: Steelers at Ravens. The last time these two teams got together, Pittsburgh beat Baltimore in the AFC Championship Game. 7:15 PM CT NBC

14. Cleveland Show. Cleveland Jr. and Roberta go on a trip to Washington, D.C. for school, leaving Cleveland and Donna happy with their empty nest, but Rallo sees the situation differently. Roberta tries to party in D.C., but Cleveland Jr. puts a stop to it. 7:30 PM CT Fox

15. A Dog Named Christmas. A young man who is developmentally challenged and takes care of homeless animals, sets up an effort for every family in his town to adopt a dog for Christmas, even though his own dad doesn’t want to go along with the plan.  8:00 PM CT CBS

16. Desperate Housewives. Angie and her family leave Wisteria Lane, Bree and Karl aren’t doing so well hiding their affair as Susan and Bree clash, Lynette is at odds with Gaby because of her pregnancy, and Mike and Katherine’s argument becomes hurtful. 8:00 PM CT ABC

17. Family Guy. Brian is upset when the rest of the family isn’t too upset about a dog’s accidental death, and Lois gets a new maid who clashes with Peter 8:00 PM CT Fox

18. Soul Train Awards. Terence Howard and Taraji P. Henson host, and Chaka Khan and Charlie Wilson receive icon tributes, with Michael Jackson getting special honors. 19. Untamed & Uncut. The Hudson River plane crash caused by birds is recalled, a bull rider is injured, and a TV host has troubles with an elephant. 8:00  PM CT Animal Planet

20. Meet the Natives USA. In the series premiere, Five tribesmen from the Pacific Island of Tanna come to the States to see check out life in America. Their first stop is Montana where they learn about the cowboys. 8:00 PM CT Travel Channel

21. Iron Chef America. A special holiday battle ensues between Bobby Flay and Masaharu Morimoto.  8:00 PM CT Food Network

22. Dexter. Dexter has to rethink his Trinity Killer theory when a 10-year-old boy disappears.
