What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Kennedy Center Honors
There’s some big names being honored tonight on Kennedy Center Honors. Mel Brooks, Robert De Niro, and Bruce Springsteen are the biggest names. But the performers and presenters include even more big names: Meryl Streep, Sting, Aretha Franklin, John Mellencamp, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and that’s just the beginning. This stands out tonight among all the repeats on network TV.
1. Regis and Kelly. Guests include Eddie Cibrian, LL Cool J, and Twisted Sister, and Kelly performs with the cast of Mary Poppins. I think I’d rather see her perform with Twisted Sister. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. EagleBank Bowl: Temple vs. UCLA. It’s the first meeting between the two schools and the first bowl game for Temple in thirty years. 3:30 PM CT ESPN
6. Rudolph’s Shiny New Year. Our favorite shiny-nosed reindeer embarks on a quest to find Santa. At least this time they waited until the week between Christmas and New Year’s to air this. 7:00 PM CT ABC
7. Benchwarmers. Anything with Rob Schneider, David Spade, Jon Heder, and Jon Lovitz is either going to be really good or really bad. 7:00 PM CT Fox

Each member of the family used to weigh well over 300 pounds and they have turned to each other for motivation to lose weight. They are documenting their journey to drop those pounds.
