Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, April 20th – Finally Things Start to Get Interesting
Author Carrie | 21.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
Laura and I were discussing this season last night, and we both noticed that it’s taken a pressured situation at the very end of the season to make things interesting on the feeds and the show in general. I’m not sure what it is about Big Brother 9 that’s made it almost a non-entity even for a die-hard fan like myself, but it’s been difficult to really care what happens in the house lately. I still don’t care who wins, but the fact that there’s some mystery in the air right now is actually heightening the entertainment value. Finally.
Setting the Stage: The hamsters are on indoor lockdown all day today, so they’re already annoyed that they can’t lay out, smoke, use the grill, or go swimming. Add to this the fact that Sheila is still feeling “hormonal” and bitching quite a bit to the boys, and we’ve got a lot of frayed nerves combined with cabin fever. It doesn’t make for a very good mix.
Topic of the Day: Speculation on how the next week (they think it’s 10 days) will play out is the main topic of discussion. Adam is convinced that things are being sped up, especially when Ryan gets the digital camera and computer to write his HoH blog. There’s something being built in the backyard, and they figure out that it’s not a luxury or food comp, so it has to be HoH.
By the end of the day though, BB has confirmed for them that the eviction that they thought they had on Wednesday will instead be on Monday, followed by part one of the final HoH comp. Part two will happen on Tuesday, and then the last part of the HoH will air live on Wednesday night’s show, after which the last remaining jury member will be evicted. The houseguests still think that the final two will have to spend an entire week in the house by themselves though. Adam repeats several times that Julie will be there on Monday, and keeps calling it a “live eviction.”
Sharon Tries a Different Tactic: Sharon spent some time today blow-drying her hair and putting makeup on, and then dressed in a revealing little top. The boys noticed her appearance and commented on it, and she proceeded to strike a few “leaning” poses in front of them, showing off her cleavage. Not sure if it worked or not, but Sheila sure noticed this new angle of Sharon’s.
Strategy Talks: Sheila’s in a funk today, especially when she finds out that she doesn’t have the luxury of time to work on Adam to keep her in the house. These two start the day off by arguing, and Adam calls her a “bitch.” Sheila doesn’t like this word and tells Adam this in no uncertain terms. So they’re not getting along very well at all, and Sheila keeps insisting that she’s not going to kiss Adam’s ass just for his vote.
Sheila tries a few times to talk with Adam, but he seems to have removed himself from the whole scene with her. It’s like he’s intentionally putting some distance between them so that his vote against her won’t be a complete shock. Sheila tells him that she’s had his back this entire game, and now there’s nothing she can do because her life is in his hands. She promises that she still wants the two of them there together at the end, and thinks that Adam would win the game over her and do great things with the money. Every time she approaches him to talk though, he buries his head in the bible or just doesn’t reply.
Adam goes to Sharon and offers her a final two deal if he votes to keep her this week. She kind of agrees, without actually committing to it. He wants to know if she has something going with Ryan, and she says no and wonders why she would make a deal with him when she never even talks to the guy. They decide that Sheila is being shady because she’s obviously the one with the existing relationship, but she won’t ‘fess up to anyone about it.
The DR is calling people in to say their goodbye messages, and they have to record them for everyone but Ryan. All three of them will have to pack their bags before the eviction tomorrow, and everyone is flipping out that tomorrow is going to be a big day. Huge. Epic. Sharon thinks that the bell is going to ring, and they’ll all have five minutes to pack their bags before a live competition and eviction. I don’t know where she’s pulling this out of though.
Sheila goes to Ryan to try and plead her case, but he’s non-committal and tells her that he doesn’t know what he wants to do, and that the vote will probably be up to Adam. She tries to stress that they still don’t know what Sharon is capable of, and she may be tough to beat in the last comps. Ryan doesn’t seem to take the bait though.
A little while later, Sharon goes to Ryan and tells him that Adam offered her this deal and she doesn’t know what to do about it. She says that she’s not a liar, has never lied in the game (except for those few times that she, uh, didn’t tell the truth), and didn’t want to shake hands with Adam. Ryan basically tells her that it’s the end of the game and she may need to lie to get to the final two. But he’s pissed off that Adam went behind his back, and now he doesn’t know who to trust. He’s not sure if Adam will actually follow through with voting Sheila out of the house.
Sharon wants Ryan to take her off the block so she can cast the vote for eviction. The only problem is that she doesn’t feel that she can vote to evict Sheila, because Sheila hasn’t done anything to her, and has had her back throughout the game. So now Ryan is in a bit of a pickle, because he really wants Sheila gone this week. He’s also honest with Sharon and says that he’s worried she has three votes sitting waiting for her in sequester, and doesn’t think he can risk going to the end with her. She says she understands.
Adam and Ryan get into an argument in the HoH room after Ryan tells Adam that he knows about the deal he offered Sharon. Ryan goes on and on about how he needs to be able to trust Adam, and can’t believe he went behind his back like that. Pot, meet kettle. Adam talks his way out of it though, saying that he’s in this with Ryan to the end, his word is good, and he’s totally on board with voting Sheila out. They bond over some Sheila-bashing, and Adam apologizes for going to Sharon, saying that he only did so because he thought that she and Ryan had some sort of deal going on. Ryan acts appalled and says that he thinks Adam and Sheila have some sort of deal together. Everyone has deals with each other, boys. Get over yourselves.
Sharon wants Ryan to throw “two parts” of the HoH comp to her, so that she can win it and evict Adam. She stresses that this will keep the blood off of Ryan’s hands, and he’ll get to keep Adam’s jury vote. Ryan doesn’t seem to know what to do, but says he’ll consider it.
Mystery Solved: BB finally tells the houseguests that the existing relationship in the house is the BEEBEES, and that they’re sisters. You’d expect Sharon to be pissed off about this, right? But no, she’s fine with it and thinks it’s funny, and spends a lot of time talking to her BEEBEES afterwards. You’d also think that this would cause some second thoughts over the decision to boot Sheila because she’s been lying to them, right? But again, you’d be wrong. They could really care less.
Smoke Watch: Adam has lost (or thinks someone stole) some cigarettes that he says he had stashed away. The patches are giving him nightmares and making his tummy sore. We’re hovering on a Red Alert here now.
Fun Stuff: The hamsters find a spot on the railing where Matt etched his name. They also find some of Natalie’s hair that she had cut off, and assorted other bits of garbage that Nat left for them. This leads to some mild Natalie-bashing, and Sheila says she thought Natalie would have been a very tidy person because of her upbringing. Whatever that means.
The boys stay up late, and after discussing the possibility that the endurance part of the HoH comp might involve arm strength, they do pull-ups under the staircase, Hurricane Howie-style.
Quotes of the Day: “I hate him. This is not acting, people, this is real.” – Sheila (about Adam)
Sheila: “I should walk around calling you an asshole!”
Adam: “I am one!”
“This sucks nuts, dude.” – Adam, to Ryan, about the whole situation with Sheila and Sharon
My Thoughts: Consider Sheila gone unless she comes up with a brilliant move between now and the veto ceremony. But she doesn’t seem to have any fight left in her now. She seems to be resigned to the fact that she’s leaving.
Adam is making a mistake in not going with his gut instinct. He thinks he has a better shot at beating Ryan or Sharon in the end than Sheila, but what he doesn’t know is that Sharon wouldn’t take him. He thinks she has a deal with Ryan, which she does, but they both deny it. Adam would be much better off keeping Sheila because she truly does have his back. Both Sheila and Ryan would take Adam to the end - he’d be guaranteed a spot in the final two by keeping Sheila in the house.
Adam has the best shot at winning the game now, but first he has to get himself into the final two. If it comes down to Sharon and Ryan, Sharon will likely win the game.

Big Brother 9, Live Feeds, April 20th, Eviction Notification
Author LauraBelle | 20.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
Well, after speculation all day long by us feed watchers and the BB final four, we finally know what’s going on. They’ve been on an indoor lockdown all day long, and they know they’re out there building something, as in some type of comp. They couldn’t figure it out. Then again, they still think the show has ten days left instead of a week.
Ryan is doing his HoH blog today and he also got the HoH camera, causing them to ask even more, why is this happening so early?
Well, it ends up it is a double eviction week of sorts, they just aren’t calling it that, as Carrie has suggested before. After Adam was called to the DR, he came out and announced the live eviction is happening tomorrow night, and he was asked to record goodbye messages for Sheila and Sharon. However, a quick check of TiVo tells me BB is schedule tonight and not again until Tuesday. Either they’re changing all the notifications for TiVo and such after they announce this on tonight’s show, or they’re filming it tomorrow “live,” and showing it on Tuesday night. It wouldn’t be the first time they messed with the time frames of the show.
Either way, Sheila is really worried, as this is a day she is really pissed off at Adam after he called her a bitch this morning for joking about him not making her strawberry pancakes. Sharon doesn’t seem to have as many worries, as she’s wearing a skimpy top that she complains feels like a corset, squeezing her boobs in, and lays down in front of Adam so he can see down said top, and lays in bed with Sharon cackling as if she’s the funniest person in the world. She’s playing it hard today.
Big Brother 9, Live Feeds, April 19th, Just Who Is Adam Really Aligned With?
Author LauraBelle | 20.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
Topic of the Day: Ants now infiltrate not only the kitchen, but also the guinea pig cages, which of course, is upsetting to Sharon. Sheila goes about cleaning up the kitchen again and putting everything in plastic bags or in the fridge. Why is this such a problem every season? Is it an allover problem on the CBS lot or just here in the BB house? You’d think CBS could afford some ant traps or spray so that people don’t have to deal with it. Just sayin’. Apparently they heard what I was thinking, because later on, everyone is sent outside on a lockdown, and when they return, they find ant traps in the kitchen and the GP cage cleaned out.
Strategy Talks: Sharon tries desperately to get into the HoH. It seems at first as if Ryan is ignoring every attempt. This is after he already told her in passing that she has nothing to worry about. He knows Adam wants to vote out Sheila. Instead, he was just in the shower, and he eventually lets her in. He tells her he talked to Adam, but he doesn’t want to say anything just yet, as he’s afraid it will get back to Sheila, but he does think Adam will end up voting out Sheila. Sharon doesn’t want Adam to get to final three, though, as he’d win over Ryan. They argue over how tight Adam and Sheila are.
Sheila tells Adam that Sharon is acting really weird, quiet and snotty. That’s weird for her? I thought it was the norm. Sheila doesn’t want Ryan to change the noms at all, and she has to them put her trust in the two guys. She also mentions if she were to win HoH, she’d keep Adam, and she hopes it goes vice versa. He says nothing. She goes back to talking about Sharon, saying when she’s quiet, she’s scheming. Again, when is she not quiet, unless she’s fawning over her BEEBEEs and slug?
Sheila tells Adam he knows who she wants to go to the end with, him. Again, he says nothing. She wants him to know he deserves to win as much as she does. He tells her to wait and see what happens. She knows that Sharon remembers that Adam kept Natalie, meaning if Ryan takes her off the block, she’ll surely vote out Adam. She wants Adam to know Sharon plans to take Ryan to the end, as she knows she can’t win against Adam. They argue over which one of them has had the other’s back more. She tells him she has cried for him.
The guys get together and while Ryan basically spills almost everything Sheila said, and the guys then crucify her for being two-faced, Ryan then lies saying Sharon wasn’t throwing Adam under the bus at all.
Sharon must have realized now she doesn’t have a chance getting Ryan to take her off the block, giving her a chance to evict Adam. She works on Adam, telling him how many votes he and Sheila have at the end, while she thinks she only has Josh. She obviously can’t see how he would keep her if she knows he voted to keep Natalie last week, and she wants him to know that, too. She works on a final two scenario with him, but he tells her to do that, he’d have to burn Ryan. Sharon comes up with an absurd lie, saying she hasn’t talked to him and doesn’t know anything about him. To say she doesn’t know anything about him is just … weird. They’re final four together; of course she knows him.
Adam tells Ryan over a golf game later that Sharon was drilling him. Ryan asks where Sheila was at that point, but she wasn’t around. He then asks if Sharon positioned herself so that she could see everything going on, and Adam agrees, saying she also held her hand over her mouth so no one could see what she was saying. Ryan thinks she hung out with the other group too long, making up scenarios all the time, and Adam points out Sheila calls them scenarials.
Adam points out Sharon has three guaranteed votes in the end, so why is she the best to go to the end with? He also explains Sheila was able to give him all the details on how the finale works. It sounds like he’s working on reasons for keeping Sheila. It’s apparently working, as Ryan says they can’t let Sharon win.
Sheila says Adam was never unkind to anyone, giving James a fair shake. Sharon thinks it could have gone badly, but Sheila tells her not for her (Sharon), as she was with him. That’s why she gets mad at Adam when he gets pissed at her for putting him on the block for seven hours. Neither of them think the guys care which of them goes and in which order. They realize they’re probably both goners and tell each other whichever one goes first, they’ll see the other in seven days, still not realizing the game is over a week from Sunday.
Pack your bags, Adam; you’re going on a guilt trip. When Sheila left her son three months ago, she told him it was in an attempt to make their lives better. She’ll feel good if Adam gets to the end, as she’ll know she helped him get there, knowing he’s going to do something good with the cash. She asks what he’s going to do, and Adam tells her her son qualifies, and that she should apply for the foundation, as they’ll help her. That’s not what she wants, though; she wants to help the foundation. If she doesn’t win, she’ll go back to work at the golf course, and just work two jobs if she has to.
Mystery Explained: Sheila tells Sharon the reason Jen and Amanda jumped on Allison was because they thought she had told Sheila about the Jen/Ryan relationship, but in reality it was Amanda herself. That was why Sheila originally sided with Allison. She doesn’t understand why Josh turned on Allison, and Sharon fills her in that it was the whole fake gay relationship thing. Sheila points out it was never their intention to offend Josh and his sexuality. It was just something to get Allison interested in the game again.
Romance Ended: Adam “broke up” with the girl he liked in the DR last Sunday, because she’s always trying to get him to do stuff he doesn’t want to. Sounds much more sexual than I’m sure it is.
Prophetic Moment: When James knew he was leaving, he warned Sheila about Ryan and Adam, saying all she was to them was a vote.
Fun Stuff: Ryan and Adam get up this morning and make banana walnut pancakes with chocolate syrup for everyone after getting the idea from the Nesquick chocolate syrup bottle. I have to admit, they looked good.
For some reason Adam and Ryan can’t stop talking about Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, the latter of which is because she stars in What Happens in Vegas. But why Drew? Adam thinks she’d like him, because she was married to Tom Green who’s crazy, and Adam thinks he does crazy really well. It’s kind of hard not to comment on that, no?
Adam thinks Big Brother is a chick show, but Sheila disagrees, thinking it’s probably 60/40 in favor of women. I think we need a show of hands. He figures they have a huge following of gay mafia. Sheila is wondering if they do BB updates in In Touch and OK! magazines. He jokes they did a whole bio on Sheila Kennedy. I think if he votes her out, he’ll lose his last remaining real fun he has in the house.
Quotes of the day: “I’m not big on birthdays; I always get disappointed.” — Adam (that makes me sad!)
“Watch your tits!” — Adam to Sheila, who says she hates that word, preferring breasts. Ryan offers up “rack,” and she says that was the last word that Scott Baio used on her.
“I deserve this; I’m not a golddigger.” Sheila
My Thoughts: It is so hard to tell where everyone’s allegiances really are. At this point, it certainly seems like the guys are the only true alliance. A few days ago, it was seeming like Adam and Sheila were the most secret real alliance, and I’d still like to think that’s true. Either way, he’s a good actor, as he has me totally confused to where he’s siding. The way Ryan is avoiding Sharon, he is definitely keeping her on the block, so it will all rest in Adam’s hands, very ironic, since he’s the one person that avoided blood on his hands this whole time. If he turns on Sheila and votes her out, there’s no way he’ll get her vote in the end, and knowing how good she is at campaigning, she could probably turn some of his solid votes in the house against him. He’ll look so much better to the jury to get out Sharon.

Big Brother Live Feeds, April 18th – Unchained and Uncertain
Author Carrie | 19.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
Comps: As Laura posted yesterday, Ryan won the veto. From what I can tell, they had to match faces of houseguests to clues about them, either following a time line or matching them up in the right order so that they each fit two different clues.
Topic of the Day: Of course they’re still busily harping on the existing relationship that is still in the house. There aren’t many new theories today, although Sharon and Sheila are the only ones entertaining the idea that they may be related to someone and not know it. Sharon even floats the idea that she might be related to Chelsia because they both have German roots. Ryan seems to have had his fill of all the relationship chatter, as he’s walked away from it several times today. He’s convinced that it’s Sheila and someone, because he doesn’t believe that she answered an ad on Craigslist to get on the show. I’ve seen those ads, and they do exist Ryan.
The other main topic is Sheila and Adam bickering because they’re still tethered together for most of the day. Sheila leads the charge because she didn’t get much sleep, she’s hormonal and PMS’ing, and … wait for it … she’s a 46-year-old single mom. Know that. The two of them go from mutual love to hate and back again many times over the course of the day. Most of the time I think they’re joking about hating each other, but then one of them will say something with an edge of truth to it, and the other seems to take serious offense.
Adam got a little carried away and was pulling Sheila around by the chain, and wrapping it around her. Sheila got upset over this and spoke into her microphone, asking BB to step in because she was not going to tolerate this kind of “abuse” any longer. For her part though, she tried to prevent Adam from going into the spa room to take a nap by holding onto the railing of the staircase and not letting go.
The chains came off just before the veto competition.
Strategy Talks: In the time leading up to the veto comp, it was Sharon and Ryan doing a lot of strat whispering, while Sheila and Adam really had very little choice but to talk to each other. It’s not like Ryan could have had a private conversation with Adam or anything at that point. And it was the same old stuff, with Sharon trying to convince Ryan that Sheila has the jury votes if she gets to the end, whereas Sharon had a hand in evicting all of her alliance members, so they may not be too happy with her. I don’t know if she actually believes this or not, but it’s a steaming pile of crap and I’m pretty sure Ryan knows that.
Sharon wants Ryan to win the veto and take her off the block, and she thinks that will force Adam and Sheila to reveal their pre-existing relationship. Argh. At the very least, she says it will force them to campaign against each other and that will destroy the bond they have. Well if one of them would be leaving anyway in that scenario, I’m not sure the “bond” would have any importance at that point.
Sheila tells Adam that, if he could look her straight in the eye and tell her she’s fine this week, she would believe him. He doesn’t do this, however.
After the veto comp, Adam tells Sheila that Sharon and Ryan are working together. Sheila doesn’t like this at all, and she’s really stressing over it. She tells Sharon that there’s no way that Ryan will change the nominations and put Adam up, and Sharon answers that it’s a possibility. This is the first time that Sharon has tipped her hand, even a little bit.
Sharon goes to Ryan and tells him that Adam told Sheila she was okay and not to stress. Ryan isn’t saying much or confirming anything with Sharon, instead he’s rather talk about whether or not his fly was open during the comp.
Adam and Ryan talk outside, and Ryan lays it on the line: he needs to be able to trust Adam now, because he knows that he has something going with Sheila. Adam promises to do whatever Ryan wants him to. Ryan doesn’t quite know what to do, because Adam has deceived him in the past and he knows about what he whispered to Natalie when she was walking out the door.
Ryan says that he wants Sheila gone this week, and Adam actually swears on his mother that he will evict her. Ryan brings up Adam’s whole play for James’ vote when he didn’t nominate him right away, and Adam says it wasn’t game, he did it because he has a heart and would have done the same thing for Ryan. Ryan says that Sharon keeps telling him that it’s Sheila who has a previous relationship with someone in the house, and that she’s been shady all along for not coming clean about it. Adam tends to agree, and says that Sheila will pay for lying to him.
As the girls head for bed, Adam and Ryan talk in the kitchen about how Adam really wants Sheila out this week and was thinking all last night, while she was ranting about her raging hormones, that he couldn’t wait to get the bitch out of the house. They agree that they still have to be on their game to get to the end, because Sharon will be tough to beat in the final comps. When one of them asks the other a mundane question, Sharon shouts the answer from her bed. They look at each other, wide-eyed, because she likely heard their entire conversation.
Smoke Watch: Adam is down to only six cigarettes. We’ll go with an Orange Alert level, since he’s wearing nicotine patches. If he runs out of those, hit the deck.
Fun Stuff: Sheila asks Adam what type of girl he’s looking for, and he says he wants someone who will cook and clean for him, have his babies, and drinks coffee. Hee. He says he would never date Natalie, and when pressed to tell Sheila what his “type” is, he says, “horny.”
Sharon is full of more Jacob stories, including one in which his mom took a girl he was dating out for lunch and told her all about Sharon and their history. The girl didn’t want to have anything to do with Jacob after that. Odd, no?
Quotes of the Day: “Adam’s thinking, ‘Just gnaw it off so I can get away from her!’” – Sheila, to Ryan, about the chain holding her and Adam together.
“I knew we’d have a competition where we’d have to put heads on something. Not that I’m trying to be like Natalie or anything.” — Sheila
“Don’t call us until noon, Big Brother. Our office hours are from noon until six.” – Adam and Ryan, getting ready for bed at 2:30 in the morning.
My Thoughts: I honestly can’t tell if Adam is really going to vote Sheila out or not. It’s possible that he’s just playing along to make sure that he doesn’t go up on the block against her, and then will work on getting Ryan to change his mind. He just gave in too easily for it to be cut and dried. Even though Adam has made some promises and “gamed” a little throughout the course of the season, he’s played one of the cleaner games this time around, and I can’t see him lying outright to either Sheila or Ryan. So he has to have something up his sleeve.
Sharon will likely try to convince Ryan to put Adam and Sheila on the block together, and in that case I can see her voting to evict Adam. The stakes are high this week, and someone has to make a move soon. Will Adam actually step up and get his hands dirty? I think he has to, I just don’t know which way he’ll end up leaning.
On one final note, I really hate how much that ridiculous “existing relationship” question from the HoH comp is screwing with the hamsters. If they *had* to use that question, they could have at least told the group that it was the guinea pigs - but of course that might cause Sharon to throw a fit. And BB can’t have that. The whole thing is messing with them, and it might end up costing Sheila her spot in the final three because they’re all convinced she’s lying to them.

Big Brother 9, Live Feeds, April 18th, PoV Results
Author LauraBelle | 18.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
Coming back from PoV, we don’t know a whole lot about the comp, but we do know Ryan won. Oddly, the only nervous one of the other three is Sharon. She’s been biting her lip since it got over. Ryan is cooking a chicken dinner, and after a talk of Las Vegas, more ants were found in the kitchen, so Sheila went and put all the food away.
Sharon followed Ryan up to HoH and tried to get him to talk about the comp, but he kept changing the subject, worried that his fly was down the entire time of the comp. She wants to say how perfect it was that he won, but he breezes right by this talking about his zipper. She points out how carefree Adam and Sheila are like they aren’t worried at all, and they should be, but he just talks about coming upstairs right before the comp to pee. She says with the jumping around, she thinks he or something else would have noticed his zipper being down. She leaves the HoH and walks around biting her lip again.
Big Brother Live Feeds, April 17th, BB, the Chains That Bind
Author LauraBelle | 18.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
Comps: Everyone knows they’re having a comp today, but can’t figure out what it will be. From the way the DR talked about it, they think it’s a food comp, but they aren’t sure. They aren’t even sure how to dress, and Sharon just wants to make sure her legs don’t get all banged up, saying Nat’s legs were all cut up from comps and she was wearing pants. Sharon got cut once and didn’t even know until she saw the blood. If it’s a food comp, Sharon’s glad they don’t have to go for stuff like grills, but the others like the grill. Ryan was mad the marguerita party was chosen over the grill at one point, especially since it was just a half hour party instead of an all-nighter.
It turns out to be a luxury/penalty comp. Sharon and Ryan win a Beverly Hills shopping spree, spa trip, and tickets to the premiere of What Happened In Vegas, causing them to speculate they may get to meet Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. They’ll also get to watch a movie tonight in the backyard together. Adam and Sheila have to stay chained to each other for 24 hours starting after the nomination ceremony and lasting up to the PoV comp. Sheila says the only thing worse would be if she was on slop as well. If that were to happen, she’d have to kill Adam, then tells BB she’s only joking, as she knows there is no violence allowed. More details can be found in Carrie’s comp post (compost? you know what I mean).
Two Mustangs appear in the backyard, and I can only think it will be for the final 2. Sheila would love to get the black Mustang that’s out there, saying she’s always had Jeep Wagoneers.
Nominations: Sheila and Sharon are nominated, and directly after, it absolutely has to be more of Adam and Sheila just acting, as he says he wants her gone and wants to spit on her. Ryan had told them he put them up because of the smack they were talking about Natalie.
Topic of the Day: The third relationship is still on everyone’s mind. Sharon and Ryan think it may be Adam and Sheila, because after everything Sheila has done, he still wants to keep her. Now, we all know that third relationship is the GPs, but I increasingly feel like
there is something between these two. As they get chained together after the comp, and she bitches about how hard it will be, she whispers to him it will be a blessing … twice.
Sharon and Ryan talk later about this possible connection, as Sharon walked in their bedroom without knocking, and they were both in bed, as Sheila was just wearing bra and panties. She doesn’t think anyone walks around talking about hating someone unless they don’t … except for her and Jacob, as she feels she’s earned the right to say she hates him. Sharon then talks some major shit, telling Ryan that Sheila has confided in her that Adam trusts Sharon more than Ryan. She says something about Sheila and Adam having an alliance before they came, saying Sheila found out on Craigslist, and Adam was going by the name of Robin. What?
Later, with everyone in bed, Ryan talks to himself about the third relationship, figuring it has to be Sheila and someone else. He keeps repeating the wording of the question from the HoH challenge over and over.
Strategy Talks:
Ryan tells Sheila he has to put her up today, but tells her she’s going to be fine, as Sharon and Adam are after each other. She knows. He won’t tell her who’s going up with her, though, although she repeatedly suggests Sharon. Ryan explains everyone is on the block this week. This isn’t true, as Ryan is the only one guaranteed to not go home. Everyone’s basically on the block, but him. Sheila expresses sorrow again at evicting Natalie, and Ryan tells her it doesn’t matter, as she was going to put Sheila up this week had she stayed.
Ryan is a little upset with Adam for messing up the vote, then telling Natalie. Ryan knows Adam would prefer to be on the block so he doesn’t have to make the decision, and Sheila says he’ll have to, meaning, he’ll have to win PoV to keep her safe. Sheila goes to Adam to see if he’s still planning on taking her to final 2. He says yes, as “til death do us part.” They she gets mad and stalks off after he says she probably told Ryan to put her on the block after she was up there trying so hard to keep him off.
Ryan tells Sharon if Adam wins PoV, he thinks he can talk him into keeping her. He then goes to Ryan and tells him that he’s going up, and he’s not kidding. He then adds if Adam does what he wants, which is vote to keep Sharon and not Sheila. Adam’s stupid if he takes this deal, as it doesn’t matter if he’s on the block or not. All that matters is who wins PoV, yet he agrees anyway. Ryan takes this back to Sharon, but she would rather get rid of Adam this week to guarantee her safety to final 2.
BB, The Chains That Bind: Once Sheila and Adam are chained together, their biggest dilemma is how they’ll handle Sheila getting up before Adam. He suggests they get up, have joe, make poops, and go take a nap. Sheila thinks is is punishment for voting out Natalie. Adam wants to drag her with him to run a mile then go swimming. Instead, he lies down next to her as she takes a nap. There is a cuff on Sheila’s left arm and another on Adam’s right, and the “chain” appears to be like black rope and is long enough that they don’t have to be directly next to each other.
Later on, while Ryan and Sharon are watching their movie, Adam and Sheila are allowed to uncuff in a deal they make with the DR, since they can’t watch the movie. They have an argument, as she says she cares about him, but she doesn’t think he does for her. He tells her he will keep her and vote out Sharon. She’s upset that he called her a “fucking bitch” the night before and wants him to finally get his hands dirty and vote Sharon out. He promises to take her off if he wins PoV (wouldn’t that put him in her place?) and says Ryan has said if he wins he’ll keep the noms the same, and that leaves Adam to be the one to decide who leaves. Sheila tells him Sharon would probably evict him, as she blames him for the other vote for Natalie.
Sheila cries, saying she loves and trusts Adam, and if she could take back one thing, it would be how she treated him on the first day. She also tells him she’s a different person in this game and is a lot tougher and meaner on the outside. She could have easily tore up Natalie when asked, but she didn’t, not even bringing up her past. That wouldn’t take a lot. I think anyone could tear up Natalie.
Around 4 AM, Sheila and Adam still haven’t slept. She can’t, complaining about getting her period, and saying it happens every time. She just wants some Tylenol PM, and BB won’t give it to her, meaning she’ll suck tomorrow at the PoV. She’s pissed at BB, and she’s pissed at Ryan, because he won’t tell her how he’d side if he wins PoV. A little while later, they finally fall asleep. Amazingly enough, Adam is very understanding and sweet to her this whole time.
Fun Stuff: Apparently with Natalie now gone, there is a need to clean out everything else that needs to leave. The other two girls get up first thing in the morning and clean out the refrigerator.
Sharon wonders how everyone is being portrayed, and thinks Sheila is seen as the house badass, and she’s seen as the animal lover. That almost seems like something she just wants the jury to think. Who do we give the money to? The badass or the animal lover? Hmm.
Sharon’s slug has been named Cammo, because he disappears. Ryan gives him props for infiltrating a CBS studio, saying he’s like a Navy Seal. Somehow this leads to a story about helicopters following OJ, and Sheila mentions she signed autographs with him once, but she refuses to talk about him. The guys give her a hard time about hooking up with him
and seeing the black snake, but she denies it. Ryan thins she’s lucky she never did, or she’d be in a ditch somewhere or in the back of a Bronco. Adam doesn’t think OJ murdered his ex, “Not the Juice.”
Sheila met Daryl Strawberry and dated Ron Darling for four years. She recalls the best times being the 80s Limelight, Zenon’s Studio 54 days. She’s done with all that partying now, though. She likes this chapter of her life, being a parent, much more.
Late at night, Sheila and Adam talk in bed about the different nationalities of people they have dated, and it leads to a conversation about Britney Spears, oddly enough. Sheila mentions a plan she has for Britney to get her life back together. She thinks Madonna should take her to her estate in England to help her get her life back on track, especially with her children. Madonna could be a great mentor, as she’s been through a lot of that and reinvented herself so many times. Sheila is interested in it from a maternal aspect, not celebrity.
Shout Out of the Day: Happy Birthday, Diddy (Adam’s dad).
Very Last Bit of Natalie Bashing: Sharon and Sheila think she was in a state of shock when she was evicted last night. They talk of how she acted like a super-Christian, yet didn’t even know what “redeemed” meant. Sharon thinks Natalie dressed trashy, but Sheila points out at least she had the body for it. She also thinks this will make Matt happy, as he didn’t want her to win the game, but I think that’s just what he was telling Sharon when they were playing kissy-face. Sheila is shocked that Natalie allowed a hug from her after she evicted her to her face.
There must be boredom in the house, as once again we’re talking about Sheila’s yeast infections, and she knows she lost her friend Allison over it, but it was really Natalie that was spreading it. (the talk of it, not the infection itself)
They think Natalie will tell everyone in sequester that Adam was the one who gave her the vote to stay. It really bugs Sharon that Natalie claims to be a Christian, but doesn’t follow the beliefs. She refused to pray for Chelsia, then mentioned Josh going to Hell for being gay. Sheila is still shocked that Natalie was so open about her past, thinking it was used against her in the game. Sharon doesn’t think Josh ever knew what Natalie had said about him. When she gets to sequester, she plan to let him know, though.
Mystery of the Day: Ryan tells Adam and Sheila that Sharon is used to gettin’ some after a movie and mentions something about his hand under the blanket. When Sheila asks what me means, Adam tells her it’s guy talk.
Quote of the day: “I could’ve used a Beverly Hills shopping spree; I have holes in my clothes. Instead, I get you.” — Sheila to Adam
“Ho’s with different area codes.” — Sharon’s response to the the guys giving her a hard time about hooking up with a new guy every time she went to a new city.
“I feel like a fatass now.” — Ryan, after eating two burgers after complaining that he was starving. (Yet he at popcorn a few minutes after this statement.)
My Thoughts: Adam has said he hasn’t been showing his full arsenal, other than the GP PoV, but if there’s a time for him to use it, and if he really is as tight with Sheila as it increasingly seems, it’s Friday for the PoV. It’s hard to tell how anyone is really leaning, but I think if Ryan wins it, he’ll leave the noms and let Adam be the bad guy to evict Sharon. If Adam wins, he’ll either leave the noms the same and evict Sharon or pull Sheila off and let her evict Sharon. If either Sharon and Sheila wins, they’ll take themselves off, and Sheila will evict Sharon, while Sharon will evict Adam.
For Adam, Ryan, and Sheila, though, I think the best bet is to get rid of Sharon. She was a liked person in the house, and on top of it, she has three of her alliance in the jury house. I think their best bet is to get rid of her and make themselves more equal looking at alliances on the jury.

Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, April 17th - Ryan’s Nominations
Author Carrie | 17.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
As expected, Ryan nominated Sheila and Sharon. However, just after the nomination ceremony, Adam very animatedly agreed to boot Sheila this week and seems really upset with her. Of course, now they’re chained together for 24 hours, so there won’t be any more plotting on this one until late tomorrow.
Big Brother 9 Live Feeds, April 17th - Luxury Comp
Author Carrie | 17.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
We just had trivia for quite a while, along with a quick shot of a poster board with scenes from the movie “What Happens in Vegas.” When we come back, it seems that Sharon choose Ryan to be her partner in the comp, and they won it. It also sounds like, as the losers of the comp, Adam and Sheila are going to have to be chained together for 24 hours. Hee! They’re not chained together yet though - this is to start at 3pm. (Correction - they will be chained together after the nomination ceremony.)
Sharon was worried that, if Adam won PoV, he’d feel sorry for Sheila and vote to keep her. She rushed up to Ryan and had a mini paranoid freak-out, but she’s okay now.
Sheila just mentioned that Ryan and Sharon won a Beverly Hills shopping spree, spa treatments, and will attend the movie premiere. She’s really jealous and upset that she didn’t win it, because she thinks Ryan and Sharon will get to meet Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. We’ll be hearing about this for hours. Maybe days.
From what I can gather, nominations will be later today or sometime early tomorrow, and the PoV comp is scheduled for tomorrow as well. Stay tuned!

Big Brother Live Feeds, April 16th, After the Live Eviction
Author LauraBelle | 17.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
After much discussion, Carrie and I have worked out a new way of covering the live feeds. We were concerned, as they weren’t always easy reads, and sometimes weren’t as timely in an effort to cover absolutely everything. We’re trying something new these last few days, and if it works out, we’ll be doing this again this summer for BB10. We’re going to do daily summaries of all the important moments to happen, the things we feel you really want to know, and will also cover comps and big events in full as they happen. Please drop us a line and let us know what you think!
Topic of the Night: Everyone is chatting about the third preexisting relationship. Ryan still thinks it’s Sheila and Matt. After confirmation from the DR, they realize it has to be someone still in the house. The guys wonder if Sheila and Sharon knew each other before, suggesting Sharon could be her niece. Sheila suggests it could even be her and Ryan, that maybe they’re related and don’t know, because they look similar. Sharon thinks perhaps Allison and Sheila really were lesbian lovers. Sheila says she did not know Parker before, but they have shopped at the same grocery store. It’s even suggested that Baller and Sharon are siblings, but he says he has no family in the military, yet Sheila say she does.
Ryan jokes that Sheila and Adam have been married for ten years already, and that’s why he’s so jealous of Alex. Ryan worries that the others will think he’s involved, since he got the question right. Sheila then jokingly freaks out, saying her mother and Natalie’s grandmother are from Memphis, Tennessee. She voted out her own relative! She then suggests maybe she’s related to James, as her two brothers and father live in Miami, although she hasn’t seen him in 27 years. This goes on all night. Basically, they have nothing else to talk about.
Ryan’s HoH Letter: Jen writes that she misses and loves him and is very proud of him. His young niece can’t watch him on TV anymore, as she cries because she misses him. Jen and Ryan’s pitbull won’t leave her side since she got home, so Jen hooked up the live feeds to the big TV so that the dog can see Ryan. Jen watches the feeds whenever she can and is proud of the way Ryan has handled himself. She’s incomplete without him and she wants him to bring home the money. I’m not sure whether she’s referring to the 10K or the half million. She didn’t mention anything about his plans to go visit Adam in Florida before going home.
Comps: None, but these people are so not realizing what this week is about that they think they’ll have a food comp today, as the guys want the girls on slop, and they know Sharon has a slop pass still. People, the show is ending before you realize it. There just isn’t time for this. And, BTW, quick waiting for luxury comps and clothing comps.
Strategy Talks: Sharon informs Ryan if she wins PoV, she’ll be the one deciding who leaves. He didn’t seem to understand that concept earlier. Sheila and Adam agree they will save each other if they get PoV. Perhaps they’re missing Sharon’s point that it would just mean they stand on Wednesday and say goodbye Sharon. The guys decide even though they wont’ have any cigarettes for a week, the chance to win $500,000 is worth it. I’m not a smoker, but I would think so.
Ryan and Adam seem to be pulling to evict differently. Ryan is pushing to get rid of Sheila as if she’s related to someone it’s a vote for her, and Adam is saying Sharon might have a preexisting relationship as well, and she already had the three votes from her alliance plus “Chatty’s.” Going back to Julie’s question about the the person next to you in final two, they both agree it should be someone deserving, not easy to beat. Ryan points out that Sharon threw the HoH, and Adam uses that for another reason to get rid of her.
After Ryan leaves the HoH, Sharon heads up there, and Ryan seems agreeable about not taking Ryan to final 2. They don’t want Sheila in the end, as they know she would get votes, and they don’t think she deserves it. She brings up he’s still trying to keep the blood off his hands, as he said he’d put her on the block, then take her down so that she would decide who goes home. She also tells Ryan she saw the wink from Adam to Natalie after he voted, so she knew he voted to keep her. Knowing Adam, I’m sure the wink was deliberate, so that he was keeping the blood off his hands. He wanted Sharon to see that. She wants to show Adam that Sheila is a threat to him, but that just isn’t going to happen, as at this point you basically have two pairs in the house.
Mystery Explained: Ryan admits that he had meant 510 on his clipboard, but when Julie asked about it, he switched it to 310, having the choice at that point. What was with Sharon’s guess anyway? 168? The comp lasted three hours. Two people lasted at least 180. She had to throw yet another comp, feeling she was somewhat safe with Ryan.
Last Bits of Natalie Bashing: Sharon says she’s tired of Natalie always putting her down and trying to make her feel stupid, as Natalie wasn’t so bright either. Sharon doesn’t like that for a Christian, Natalie wasn’t good with that whole do unto others thing. Sheila thinks after Matt left, Natalie started playing her. She was way too cocky, and Sharon says she told James before he left that she was going to win the game.
Fun Stuff: Ryan and Adam are talking game and golfing, and Ryan hits a camera with a golf ball. After the camera starts making a loud buzzing noise, they have to go on lockdown so someone can come in and fix it. They’re golfing, BTW, as they’re convinced yet again that PoV will revolve around golfing. Later, while playing chess, Ryan gets a little “violent”, by his own admission, and breaks some chess pieces. He jokes he’s going to lose his stipend now.
Sharon is excited when she’s in the backyard to find her friend the slug again. When she goes inside, she tells the guys to leave her slug alone, and Ryan jokes there may be a spa kill. She calls Sheila to come watch it until she gets back. Sheila comes over and pokes at it with a stick. She babysits for awhile, and it then disappears. It then comes back to Sheila as she jokingly squeals, “My friend!” She does wonder what a slugs purpose is, wondering if it’s just to slime around. No, that was Parker’s.
Sheila likes to eat fish heads?
Opportunity of the Day: Sheila explains to Sharon about her book deal, that she doesn’t have money up front. 50% goes to the ghost writer and another 25% to an agent after you start getting money. 50%? I”ll take less than that. When you’re off the show, Sheila, we’ll talk.
Quote of the day: “Can’t trust a stripper; can’t trust a Penthouse Pet.” — Ryan
My Thoughts: The PoV will more than likely be something that combines physical and mental, and in that case, Adam has a good chance of winning. I don’t think Sharon or Sheila have much of a chance. He does like to keep the blood off his hands, so if he wins, he could either take Sheila off the block, knowing she’d evict Sharon instead of him, or he could just finally do it, and get rid of Sharon himself. There is no way he is getting rid of Sheila. If Ryan wins PoV, he’ll make either Sharon or Adam safe and let them make the choice, but I think he’d stick with Adam, even if he knows he’ll evict Sharon. If Sheila wins, she takes out Sharon, and if Sharon wins … I’m not sure. I can see her getting rid of the the physical threat for final three in Adam.

Big Brother Live Feeds, April 14th, Sheila and Natalie Have It Out
Author LauraBelle | 17.04.2008 | Category Big Brother
After the weirdness surrounding that meeting last night that turned out to be really only a game move for Adam and Ryan to hopefully remove their guilt in voting out Natalie from the jury’s minds, Sheila wakes up and looks outside this morning, and the first thing she says is, “Oh, it’s a nice day!” I don’t think that would be my mood after dealing with that crap, but that’s just me.
Natalie wakes up and talks about having a dream about buying guinea pigs in a pet shop. Again, why was she not having nightmares about being evicted by two self-serving guys? Adam once again, nearly has to be dragged out of bed by BB, as for the last several mornings they issue specific requests for him by name to get up. This morning they end up reprimanding, “Adam!”
This forces Ryan to have to deal with Natalie on his own, as she announces to him she doesn’t know why Sharon is saying all this crap, and it’s probably just to save her own ass. Duh! Apparently she borrowed from The Amazing Race’s clue box today. Adam finally gets up, and Natalie confronts him in the SR, saying she couldn’t sleep last night because she felt badly. She would never want him and Ryan to think she’s against them, because she’s not. She loves the boys. She then tells Ryan in the kitchen that when Julie talked to her on the live show in HoH, she told her she trusted Ryan the most, because he’s the nicest guy there.
She’s abandoned there in the kitchen after a conversation about towels and laundry, and Adam actually wants to goes back to bed. Apparently stupid meetings wear him out.
Sheila calls the guys out on the real reason they’re so tired, asking them what they talked about until 4 in the morning. Ryan tells her it was about her. The guys then tell her they were making fun of Alex, which she asks them not to do, saying America loves him. Ryan claims he and Adam don’t like Alex, because he’s a pussy. Sheila mentions she’s going to go make french toast, and Ryan says he doesn’t like the French, because they’re pussies. He thinks Alex should move to France … because he’s a pussy. Sheila says she would move to France if Alex lived there. I think these guys think they’ve won the game already.
Natalie talks to Sheila in the kitchen, telling her that Sharon is predicting she’ll go firs,t then Natalie, then Sheila. She also says the guys want her to think that the other gals are talking about her behind her back. Sheila thinks Natalie should know better than that, as they’re just trying to save their own butts. The gal that kept calling them “her guys” now wants Sheila to talk to them for her. She doesn’t want Sheila to say anything, of course, but if she stays and wins HoH, she has a surprise in store for them for pulling all this shit this week. She says she never would have done that to them, and would have reassured them they were safe. They both agree they are disgusted. At least they know our pain now.
Natalie continues, saying Adam doesn’t want any blood on his hands, and that’s why he acted buddy-buddy with James before he left. Ryan told her it was Adam who came up with the plan to call her out, that he was pressuring him to do it, even though Ryan said no, because he felt bad. But … she doesn’t want Sheila to say anything about it. Of course. Ryan also supposedly told her he hopes Sharon doesn’t think she’s just a pawn again this week, and even though Sharon is telling Natalie she’s safe, Natalie think it’s reverse psychology on her part.
Sheila knows that Adam is afraid of what James, Chelsia, and Josh will think if he takes out Sharon, and Natalie agrees, calling Adam a hypocrite. She knows she needs the boys’ votes this week, but the next, she promises her and Sheila will talk. She didn’t call them out yesterday during the meeting, because she knows she’s depending on them to vote for her to stay. And that’s exactly why they knew they had the upper hand with it. Win/win for them.
Sheila takes this and goes to the HoH to talk to Ryan. She tells him she’s worried Adam will vote Sharon out, and she also mentions that Natalie wanted to call him out, but needs his vote. She tells him Natalie told her that Adam knew Matt was going to be backdoored. She’s pissed at Adam, but wants Ryan to keep this just between them. Like that’s going to happen. Everyone tells each other everything here, even if they hate them, and these two will especially tell each other things.
Ryan assures her that Adam is going to vote Natalie out, but she’s afraid of him forcing her to break a tie, even though she claims she’ll get Natalie out one way or another anyway. She wants Natalie out now, because she’s a threat to all of them. She asks if he and Adam have a deal for final two, but he says no. She doesn’t understand why he had to call her out the way he did. Natalie knocks on the door, and Sheila is worried, but Natalie is only telling them she’s going out to tan and not scheme. She leaves, and they start cracking up. Her overcompensating is a bit ridiculous.
Later, when Adam is asleep inside, the others are all outside. Sheila tells Sharon everything that Natalie has been saying about her, that she’s a backstabber, a mole, silent but deadly, etc. Ryan joins the conversation, and says that he thinks he’s disliked by the other HGs, but Natalie is even more disliked. They all decide to cook hot dogs on the grill, and Sharon goes inside to let Adam know. While she’s doing that Sheila and Natalie again talk about Sheila needing to talk to Adam for Natalie. Natalie also runs it by Ryan, asking if she should speak to Adam or wait for him to come to her. Good grief. Pretty soon it will be similar to “so-and-so told me that so-and-sol told him that so-and-so likes you.”
Sharon and Sheila chat in the SR about … Natalie … of course. They know she’s sneaking around, so apparently she’s taking over Sharon’s post. Sharon wants Sheila to bring up James anytime Natalie starts to question her about anything, because if you mention James’ name, she always gets crazy and forgets everything else. Adam gets up with a headache, and Sheila informs him Natalie is going to try to come talk to him.
Sheila and Natalie have a conversation about cheaters, discussing whether or not they can be redeemed. Natalie thinks Sheila is getting very defensive about the topic and asks if she herself is a cheater. Sheila says she’s not, but has been cheated on and does believe they can be forgiven. Natalie says she does forgive, but doesn’t forget. Sheila certainly doesn’t condone it, but thinks they should be forgiven. Sharon agrees with Natalie, saying boys are assholes. Well, if Jacob was my ex, I’d think the same thing. Natalie wants all us bitches who thought she ever loved Mattie to kiss her ass. During this, Ryan and Adam are both reading Bibles.
The girls move on to discussing that it’s day 68, and that they only have fifteen days left. Sheila has now just figured out she can’t play HoH next week and says it’s do or die for everyone. If she was paying attention, this was the reason Natalie had for giving her HoH. Sheila also thinks of the people left, no one really curses much. Having to type most of it up, I beg to differ. Sharon tells her no one ever asks about her life, other than her life with Jacob, except for Sheila. Too bad they don’t have the challenge like they do on Survivor, where they have to see who knows the most of the the other contestant’s families.
Sheila fills Sharon in on what she knows about Adam, saying his mom is a hellraiser and tells him to only go to a certain hospital. Hes dad is in real estate, so why Sharon wouldn’t know that is beyond me. His brother is in the same business as him. Adam has been raising money for autism for a few months because of a girl he’s dating, as he wants to build a place for these kids to get dentistry. He’s doing a celebrity art aucition, and all the money goes to this.
Sheila doesn’t understand why the others don’t know these things about each other, and Sharon tells her everyone else cares about the game. Yes, but when it comes to the end, someone that knows you well could garner more votes. For Sheila, it’s hard for her to detach, and she likes everybody, and that’s why she cries when they leave. Sharon says it’s all just a game to her. I understand that, but it’s sad in a way.
After Sharon goes inside, Sheila lies to Natalie and tells her she talked to Ryan and he confirmed he was going to keep her and talk to Adam to see what’s up. These two go inside, and the three girls together go up to the HoH to do their nails. The guys are sleeping again. Natalie mentions her dreaming of getting to take one of the GPs home, and Sheila tells her that’s much more realistic than the one where she picked up Keanu Reeves after having vodka martinis with him. Yeah, but it’s not as much fun, is it?
Ryan wakes up and joins the girls, but does not do his nails. Sheila is playing hostess with the mostest, getting out a bowl of chips and cheese and crackers. She also offers Ryan a peppermint mocha coffee, chilled. He tells the girls Alex’s face is saying that he wants to be taken out of the girlie party and go down and join the guys. Ryan complains of not feeling well and leaves with Natalie, which only gives Sharon and Sheila an opportunity to rip on Natalie more.
As Natalie rejoins the girls, Ryan wakes up Adam, saying he’ll be back in ten minutes to make sure he gets up. Apparently he wants to share some testosterone, and Faux Alex doesn’t have enough for him. They eventually go outside to do some lifiting, and Sharon comes out to see if Adam needs anything, knowing he’s not feeling well. He says he’ll be fine. Ryan laughs, knowing she’s just trying to secure their votes. Duh. Ryan is really going at it with the weights, and Adam cautions him to be careful, as that’s how Ryan hurt his neck to begin with.
Sheila is wondering if there is more drama over in the sequester house, and Natalie points out possibly, if Chelsia and Matt did indeed hook up, knowing Chelsia would’ve jumped him. Sheila tells her that’s crazy, as James is so obviously into Chelsia, and would be upset with that scenario. Sharon thinks there’s nothing exciting over there, as there’s no game. Yeah, but Josh and James are just fun, game or no game.
Natalie leaves, and Sheila and Sharon again talk about her, saying the guys are only pissed because she wants to be part of both alliances. Sheila talks to Alex and says now she knows she’s nuts. Sharon leaves, and her and Natalie fuss over the GPs while the guys finish their workout. Adam suggests they have macaroni and cheese, along with fish for dinner, and Natalie’s down with that. Ryan, done with weights, jogs in the backyard. Sharon thinks the macaroni and cheese has an odd gel consistently and wonders if the box is expired, but it’s good until 2009. Wouldn’t that be the starch that comes off the pasta? Maybe she overcooked it.
While Sharon is telling Adam that she’s never talked shit about anyone in the house, unless they talked badly about her first (there’s her catch … she can always say she “thought” they did to excuse what she says), Ryan is telling Natalie that their best chances of winning the game are if they are together in final two, but everyone sees them as too big of a threat. Natalie is upset about Sheila putting her up and Ryan points out Sheila makes amends with everyone before they leave. There’s your hint, Nat! Ryan tells her, though, he will work on Adam for a 2/0 vote to keep her.
Sharon points out to Sheila that Natalie and Ryan are talking game, but she’s just thrilled that Adam washed the dishes while she was in HoH doting on her Alex doll. She also tells Sharon she won’t have any peace until Natalie is out the door. Sharon pressures her to break the tie.
Sitting down to dinner, Sharon is still upset about the macaroni and cheese, and thinks it tastes weird because of using soy milk. Here’s a hint. Don’t put as much milk and butter in as the box calls for. And sometimes I skip the butter, and use sour cream and a tad bit of milk. Try that next time, Sharon. Sheila likes Natalie’s fish.
Ryan teases Sheila for crying up in the HoH earlier, and she says she’s homesick. The guys say they never get homesick, but Ryan does admit to missing reality, kind of funny considering he’s on reality TV. The girls make plans to take pictures of themselves in bikinis with Sheila’s Alex doll. Natalie thinks they should ask Julie if Alex can vote, and comparisons are being made between him and Tom Hanks’ Wilson.
This conversation dissolves into sitting down to eat dinner as a family and having good manners. Sharon says she never had to say yes ma’am and no ma’am, but Jacob did and resented it, yet he wants his kids to do it too.
During kitchen cleanup, Natalie asks Sheila if she can talk to her upstairs, and they go up to the HoH alone. She tells Sheila about Ryan promising to vote for her and asks Sheila to break the tie. She conveniently skips the part about going to final two with Ryan. She promises, though, to protect Sheila if she keeps her in a split vote. Personally, I wouldn’t trust her. Natalie trashes Adam a little, saying he put her, Sheila and Ryan in a bad position, and promises if she gets to final two, she won’t win the jury, as they all hate her.
Sheila comes right out and asks if they were talking of going to final two together, and Natalie flat out denies it. Sheila doesn’t promise to break the tie for Natalie and only promises it won’t be a split vote. She’s also a little ticked that Ryan seems to be setting it up so Adam looks like the bad guy. She makes a promise to Natalie that she won’t share her co
