What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Finally, a Bachelor Wedding

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney have had a couple of firsts for The Bachelor franchise. For one, this was the first time a Bachelor made a choice, then changed his mind after the finale, tossing aside the show’s winner and pickng the other woman. The other Bachelors have always changed their minds, but they never went back to the other woman, at least not so quickly and publicly. This makes them also the irst Bachelor couple to make it all the way to the altar, kind of. Still, no Bachelor has wed the woman he chose at the finale, and face it, none of us think Jake and Vienna are going to get there. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter made it, but they met during The Bachelorette.

What’s Hot On TV Tonight - The Day After the Peeps

It’s back to the grindstone after the holiday weekend. In truth, there were no Peeps left at the store. Not even any jelly beans, other than all black ones. Not that that was a problem for me. There wasn’t anything left, and only non-Easter chocolate left. This means someone out there had a big sweets-induced holiday. Tonight we can come down off the sugar high and watch Dancing With the Stars, and with the rumba and jive, it might appear some of them are dancing their sugar high off.

What’s Hot On TV Tonight - NCAA Basketball Championship

It’s not March anymore, but we’re all still mad apparently. The NCAA Basketball Championships will conclude tonight, then CBS will be back to normal for good. We also have Dancing With the Stars tonight. I think the competition is really going to start tonight with the two obviously lesser dancers gone. The question is what Steve-O will do. With a choice of the paso doble and viennese waltz, they might be tempted to take the dance to the extreme, knowing they won’t be able to pull it off, but I think the judges would really turn on him and Lacey then, especially with no one else to pick on.
1. Regis and Kelly. Today is the first of four episodes being broadcast from one of my favorite places, New Orleans. Today’s guests will be Emeril Lagasse, Chris Paul of the NBA’s Hornets, the Rebirth Brass Band, and Megan Joy, fitting, as I don’t think anyone will appreciate the quirkiness here more than New Orleans. Syndicated, check new local listings.
2. RV. I have to admit, traveling around in an RV doesn’t sound like the best vacation to me, unless I can park it for awhile at a beach, yet if I had to do it, I’d want Robin Williams with me. 12:00 PM CT TBS
3. Real Genius. As I sit here at 1:40 AM typing this up while the rest of the house sleeps, I must admit my husband has always compared me to the girl in this movie refinishing the floors in the middle of the night. Find out more at Sazze. 12:20 PM CT Encore Warm
What’s Hot On TV Tonight - Everyone’s Back for Dancing With the Stars

We haven’t lost anyone yet in Dancing With the Stars, so all will be back tonight for another shot, as their scores tonight will be added to those of last week. This gives Holly Madison another week to get comfortable with this, since she started late, but after just 48 hours, Melissa Rycroft didn’t look like she needed much more time. I don’t think Ty Murray will be comfortable no matter how much time he has. With his wife out with an injury, he seems to just want to join her and make the whole experience go away.
1. Oprah Winfrey. I’m not sure what these places have to do with each other, other than places we always wanted to peek into. A tour of London’s Windsor Palace, as well as a trip behind the scenes of American Idol and designer Valentino. Syndicated, check local listings.
2. Regis and Kelly. Drew Carey guests, as well as “an American Idol castoff.” I’m not sure if that includes both Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez, or just one of them, but I’m expecting both. Syndicated, check local listings.
3. Foul Play. Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn team up to intervene in a plot to assassinate the Pope. 1:10 PM CT HBO Comedy East
What’s Hot On TV Tonight - The Bachelor Gets Engaged!

We’ll finally get answers tonight to all our questions. There are plenty of rumors out there, and I’m hoping they aren’t true. Not so far as who he ends up with, but the reasons behind it getting to that point. Since it could be a possible spoiler, I don’t want to go into detail here. We know we’ll see Deanna asking for a second chance, and know Jason tears himself up deciding between the women. In After the Final Rose, there is something that happens so sensitive, that they made it a closed studio. You can be you can check back here later for a commentary from me.
Rachael Ray. The always funny and openly opinionated Chelsea Handler guests, with an inexpensive date-night dinner recipe being featured. Syndicated, check local listings.
Evan Almighty. Sequel to Bruce Almighty without Jim Carey, but bringing back Morgan Freeman, and a larger role for Steve Carell.
Dirty Dancing. Jennifer Grey grows from a baby to a young woman in this movie, all of it done before she got a new nose. Find out more at Sazze. 5:15 PM CT Showtime Family East
