What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Crowning the American Idol
Last week I said it all comes down to this, but really it all comes down to this, tonight. Overwhelmingly fans seem to think Crystal Bowersox did better on the night, mostly because of her performance of Up On the Mountain, but will the voters go with that since Lee seemed to have the edge last week? What’s Hot On TV Tonight – American Idol Results Night, Final 2 Announced
It all comes down to this. Well, actually it all comes down to next Wednesday when the winner is announced, but this is the penultimate week on American Idol. At least for the last several years, if they make it to final two, they both get a contract. I’m reasonably sure that Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox will be the final two, and if they’re not, I’m reasoanbly sure that they’ll both get contracts anyway. 19 Management would be fools to pass them up.

It’s getting tighter and more crucial every week of American Idol. Tonight we find out who the final four will be, and frankly it’s probably only between one or two going home. Look for Casey James or Aaron Kelly to leave the competition tonight, but even though Big Mike had a good night, I could see him slipping down into the bottom two as well. It’ll be a tense hour, and I expect Lee Dewyze to look like he’s going to puke.

I think Harry Connick Jr. could end up being a really good judge. I think he’s very knowledgeable about music, and think he would be one to be honest about what could be done to help a performance and that he’ll have honest criticism instead of just saying he thinks they’ll be great if they go out and give it their all. Now the genre of Frank Sinatra, that’s another story. It could kill the Idols or make them.
