What’s Hot On TV Tonight – American Idol Final 2 Face Off

It’s pretty crazy that these two, Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze end up together in the American Idol final 2. Read about their journey that started with them auditioning together. Interestingly enough, ABC has decided to delay the Dancing With the Stars finale results show an hour so that it doesn’t conflict with American Idol tonight. Regardless, if you miss one of them, catch it afterwards on TV-Links.

9. The Lazy Environmentalist. The new season of The Bachelorette premieres tonight amongs several season finales, and a few series finales as well. Ali Fedotowsky makes her big debut, somehow finding time off work for a full season, Jack Bauer spends his last of his hours on Fox, and Law & Order makes its bow on NBC. Maybe they can go commiserate with Conan O’Brien

1. Oprah Winfrey. Julia Roberts is the guest, discussing marriage, motherhood and Eat, Pray, Love, her new film, as well as the author who wrote the book that inspired the film. Syndicated, check local listings.

It’s going to be a good night. We have a fantastic final three here. Many people felt it was a lackluster season to begin with, yet here with are with three really good possible winners. They all went home this week and were treated to a hero’s welcome. Tonight we’ll see them each sing two songs, and I’m about ready to jump out of my chair in excitement.

What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Dancing With the Stars Semi-Finals

It’s the semi-finale tonight and we’re left with four very good dancing celebrities. Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke are definitely teetering on the edge waiting to be eliminated this week, but he’s surprised us before. Can he turn it around and make it to the finale?

1. Oprah Winfrey. Randy Jackson, Johnny Galecki are the guests, which Bryant Renfroe as guest cohost. Syndicated, check local listings.

2. Smokey and the Bandit. It’s the original one with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed, and Sally Field. I used to watch this tirelessly on HBO. Jerry Reed drives the illegal merchandise in the truck, and Burt Reynolds runs interference in his sports car with girlfriend Sally Field next to him. 11:35 AM CT HBO Comedy East

3. Bonnie Hunt Show. Joe Mantegna; Aubrey Plaza; and Cythia Stafford, a lottery winner who became a philanthropist, are the guests. Syndicated, check local listings.

5. Ratatouille. This 2008 Oscar winner for best animated feature is definitely out of the norm for the usual Disney type of film. In some ways, that’s what makes it work. 4:00 PM CT Disney XD

8. Chuck. Chuck gets Morgan’s help for a mission on the side, but it gets complicated after Chuck’s father arrives and finds that an advanced verson of the intersect has been downloaded into Chuck. Scott Bakula guest stars. 7:00 PM CT NBC

10. One Tree Hill. Season finale. Julian’s film has its premiere in Utah, so his friends head west to catch it. Haley hopes the trip will help her come back from her depression. 7:00 PM CT CW

11. House. Season finale. Cuddy joins House’s search-and-rescue team to help out at an emergency in NJ where a crane has collapsed onto a building. Among the injured are the crane operator who is suffering much guilt, and a trapped who who might end up losing her leg. House finds out Cuddy and Lucas are planning to move in togehter. 7:00 PM CT Fox

12. 10 Things I Hate About You. Bianca has a dinner party for her friends, and Kat and Patrick consider taking their relationship to the next level. Michael makes the announcement that he’s gay, Walter asks Mrs. Tharpe out, and Joey gets a reality show callback. 7:00 PM CT ABC Family

13. Little People Big World. In the first half hour, Amy learns to play golf while getting a charity golf tournament together for the Dwarf Athletic Association, and Matt starts building a giant woodshed on the farm. 14. Rules of Engagement. Audrey getes a sexual harassment suit filed against her by a colleague who doesn’t like her, and Timmy challenges Jeff to a cricket match after being tired of being teased about it. 7:30 PM CT CBS

What’s Hot On TV Tonight – American Idol Goes to the Cinema

Tonight we have songs of the Cinema, mentored by Jamie Foxx, and thanks to MJ’s Big Blog, here’s the list the Idols have to choose from. We can all be greatful that some Idols were elminated in earlier weeks, eliminating our need to hear many of these. But really, is anyone really going to choose to sing the theme to GhostBusters? At final 4? maybe Lee Dewyze could have he Sta Puff Marshmallow man descend the stairs playing the bagpipes.

It’s getting closer to the end, and we’re starting to lose some good dancers. It was sad to lose Pam Anderson last week, as she did more than we would have ever expected her to begin with. It was a surprise to see Erin Andrews in the bottom last week, leading us to question if she’ll go this week or if it will be the more widely expected Niecy Nash.

I think Harry Connick Jr. could end up being a really good judge. I think he’s very knowledgeable about music, and think he would be one to be honest about what could be done to help a performance and that he’ll have honest criticism instead of just saying he thinks they’ll be great if they go out and give it their all. Now the genre of Frank Sinatra, that’s another story. It could kill the Idols or make them.

Teresa Deion Smith Harris was convicted for her role in the 1993 murder of 19-year-old Dennis Brooks, Jr., who was fatally shot, his body dismembered and left to burn in his pick-up truck.  Jennifer Freels shot her husband to death in 2007, allegedly during an argument about their impending divorce.  Both women claim they acted in a form of self-defense and deserve a fair shake – and both will spend the majority of their lives in prison (Freels, though, has no opportunity for parole at this time).9:00 PM CT WE

I don’t think many of us will forget her comments to John Park that certainly made it seem like she was coming onto him. Will she be disappointed tonight that he’s not park of the final 6? After we get rid of one really bad performer on a reality show it always seems like the season finally starts. That’s definitely how I’m feeling today about Dancing With the Stars. Now the focus of the show won’t be how bad Kate Gosselin is, but how good everyone else is.  Were they doing so well in the ratings because people were tuning in just for the train wreck?
