Posted on Friday, September 11, 2009 in What's Hot On TV

There’s not too much time left to enjoy Monk. It’s his final season and we’re already a month into it. Yet, the theme song I have running in my head is the one for the series that follows, psych. It’s one of those things that once it takes root, it stays there. Find the theme song in its entirety below.

1. Regis and Kelly. Guests today include Ben Stiller, Jennifer Garner David Beckham, Jewel, and body language expert Patti Wood Syndicated, check local listings.

What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Monk’s Final Season!

Posted on Friday, August 7, 2009 in What's Hot On TV

It’s the final season of Monk, kicking off tonight. After interviewing Tony Shalhoub, I’m left wondering if he’s going to be typecast in this anal/OCD character, as he revealed they’re more similar than they’re different. We also have the season premiere of psych. Those two, James Roday and Dulé Hill aren’t ready to hang it up quite yet, which is good for us, as they’re always ready with a few laughs.

1. The View. Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, and director Nora Ephron from the movie Julie & Julia guest, along with Lauren Braun Costello. 10:00 AM CT ABC

2. Fracture. Anthony Hopkins is superb as usual in this as a guy who murders his adulterous wife in cold blood, then dares her lover, the lead detective on the scene, to prove he did it. 10:40 AM HBO Zone East

3. The Heartbreak Kid. Ben Stiller is pretty funny in this movie that is very “Something About Mary-sh,” but the really surprisingly funny one is Jerry Stiller and how vulgar he can be to outwit his son. 12:15 PM CT 5Star Max

4. Surviving Suburbia. In the season finale, Steve encourages Anne to break from her manipulative parents after they abuse their cell phone privileges, and Henry feels Rhonda is making teen pregnancy glamorous to Courtney. 7:00 PM CT ABC (more…)
