Tonight 20/20 features of profile of actress Valerie Bertinelli, which is very timely after the recent admissions of her One Day at a Time costar Mackenzie Phillips’ admissions. What makes this really interesting, though, is the inclusion of old interview footage from 1985 with Bertinell’s then husband Eddie Van Halen.

What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Crash!

Crash returns to Starz tonight for season two. Dennis Hopper is back as Ben, and Eric Roberts joins the cast as Seth, along with several more. This season teh show plans to go beyond the police storylines and focus on the lives of these in Los Angeles as their lives intersect. Characters will be fighting for their lives, and we’ll see how Ol Hollywood affects new Hollywood i a series of unsolved murders. Tonight, the season starts out with Ben getting out of rehab.

There’s not too much time left to enjoy Monk. It’s his final season and we’re already a month into it. Yet, the theme song I have running in my head is the one for the series that follows, psych. Football is back, finally, and tonight we have an exhibition game between the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys. That means a chance to see how the winner of this summer’s 4th and Long, Jesse Holley, does. Come the regular season, will he make the team?

What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Monk’s Final Season!

It’s the final season of Monk, kicking off tonight. After interviewing Tony Shalhoub, I’m left wondering if he’s going to be typecast in this anal/OCD character, as he revealed they’re more similar than they’re different. We also have the season premiere of psych. Those two, James Roday and Dulé Hill aren’t ready to hang it up quite yet, which is good for us, as they’re always ready with a few laughs.
1. The View. Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, and director Nora Ephron from the movie Julie & Julia guest, along with Lauren Braun Costello. 10:00 AM CT ABC
2. Fracture. Anthony Hopkins is superb as usual in this as a guy who murders his adulterous wife in cold blood, then dares her lover, the lead detective on the scene, to prove he did it. 10:40 AM HBO Zone East
3. The Heartbreak Kid. Ben Stiller is pretty funny in this movie that is very “Something About Mary-sh,” but the really surprisingly funny one is Jerry Stiller and how vulgar he can be to outwit his son. 12:15 PM CT 5Star Max
