What’s Hot On TV Tonight – Drew Barrymore on SNL

Posted on Saturday, October 10, 2009 in What's Hot On TV

Tonight we have Drew Barrymore hosting Saturday Night Live, and I’m looking forward to that. I think she’s grown into a fine young lady and actress. Wow, that makes me sound old. What I think would be a great skit would be to have her be on the “biker chick chat,” but I don’t think Lorne Michaels has the cajones to try another “frickin’” skit again after having his newbie slip and drop the F bomb. I think Drew would be a perfect addition to that, though, especially with her current role in Whip It as a Roller Derby Queen.

2. College Football: Purdue at Minnesota.

3. Superbad. Sometimes I just can’t get enough of Judd Apatow movies. Here’s another one with Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, and Christopher Mintz-Plazze starring as nerdy high school kids. Like most Apatow films, it’s a little raunchy, but a lot of fun with a sweet side to it, and costars Seth Rogen. 11:35 AM CT Starz Comedy

4. College Football: Alabama at Mississippi. Two of the SEC’s stingiest defenses, but who’s the stingiest? 2:30 PM CT CBS (more…)
